Araluen is an ideal location for retreats, school camps and family gatherings.

Araluen Lutheran Camp is a fully accredited** camp site situated in the township of Anglesea, just 37 kms from Geelong on the Great Ocean Road. Surrounded by gum trees and bush land, yet only a five minute walk from the Anglesea shopping strip and a 20-minute walk to the ocean beach, Araluen is an ideal location for retreats, school camps and family gatherings. Araluen has just completed and opened a state of the art newly refurbished and extended dining room and conference centre. Main beachfront is patrolled by lifesavers throughout summer and the river mouth of Anglesea River provides a sheltered paddling and beach area for family picnics or group activities.

While we're quiet there is always work to be done!
The guys have been busy building screens, laying carpet in rooms, tidying up the garden, pruning trees, driveway re gravelled, low ropes revamp and fenced off and lots of kitchen and dorm cleaning!

At camp we get requests from schools for fish, we're happy to provide. 350 flathead tails and 40kgs of fries on the go!
