God of love and liberty, we bring our thanks this day for the peace and security we enjoy, which was won for us through the courage and devotion of those who gave their lives in time of war. We pray that their labour and sacrifice may not be in vain, but that their spirit may live on in us and in generations to come. At camp we get requests from schools for fish, we're happy to provide. 350 flathead tails and 40kgs of fries on the go!

Shrove Tuesday or is it Fat Tuesday??
On Shrove Tuesday people were encouraged to get rid of the fat and sweet things in our house in preparation for Lent. Shrove Tuesday is about dealing with temptation. Did I have 1 pancake or a whole stack?? Well we have 150 year 7 boys in, they got through a few 🤣
Maybe Shrove Tuesday is not about getting rid of things as such but to get rid of the attitudes and ideas about things, situations and people that are not encouraging us to listen to God and to follow His way...
