Life is about choices. It is also where and what we place value on. It is said that „The choices we make today always shapes our future“. When making these choices, we need the spirit of discernment.
This week, we pray to God for the gift of Wisdom that we shall have the spirit of Discernment to choose between good and evil.

In the Gospel, Jesus shares the parables of the weeds among the wheat, the mustard seed, and the yeast. The primary lesson here is Patience. God allows the good (wheat) and the bad (weeds) to grow together in the world. Premature judgment could destroy the good, so we are asked to trust that God will sort everything out at the final harvest.

While everyone was asleep his enemy came
