🇪🇸 - En el marco de las celebraciones del Octavo Centenario de la muerte de San Francisco (1226-2026), y en el año conmemorativo de los Estigmas (2024), el Papa Francisco proclamará santos el domingo 20 de octubre a ocho Hermanos Menores de la Custodia de Tierra Santa, mártires de la fe en Damasco el año de 1860. ELECTION OF NEW OFM MINISTER GENERAL

On Tuesday, 13 July 2021, at Collegio Internationale San Lorenzo da Brindisi (Rome),
His Eminence, Cardinal João Braz de Aviz,
Prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life,
who was appointed by His Holiness Pope Francis,
to serve as Cardinal Delegate at the OFM General Chapter 2021,
announced with joy that
BROTHER MASSIMO FUSARELLI
is elected as the new OFM Minister General for 2021- 2027.

Brother MASSIMO FUSARELLI was born on 30 Marzo 1963
and made his Solemn Profession on 30 Luglio 1983 in (the Province) of Rome
Brother MASSIMO FUSARELLI was elected as the 121st successor of St Francis.
