Today, we celebrate a faithful servant of God, a shepherd after His own heart, and a woman whose life continues to inspire, nurture, and lead many into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Your unwavering commitment to the Gospel, your compassionate leadership, and your steadfast faith have been a blessing to the Norton Circuit family and beyond. We thank God for the grace, wisdom, and strength He has poured into your life.

Charge Conference highlights.

Norton Circuit UMC Emmanuel 2025-2026 circuit Charge Conference was a success.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Pastor in charge, Rev. P. Tsopotsa, the church executive in its entirely and the church at large, for the commitment and support shown over the past year.

During the youthful days of RUNZIRAI MUROMBA, he formed a special and unbreakable bond with his fellow youths and the junior church members.

Together, they created a close-knit group known as The Strong'os — a brotherhood built on love, faith, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

although some members are in Zimbabwe and others are scattered across different parts of the world, the bond they shared with Runzirai remains as strong as ever. They have come together to honour his life and cherish his memories by sending heartfelt messages of condolence through short video clips.

Distance may have separated them physically, but the love, respect, and memories they hold for their beloved brother and friend, Mukoma Runzi, will forever remain in their hearts.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Continue to rest in eternal peace, Runzirai Muromba.

TRIBUTE TO THE LATE RUNZIRAI MUROMBA (Mukoma Runzi)

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we received the news of the passing of our beloved brother, Runzirai Muromba, affectionately known as Mukoma Runzi.

Mukoma Runzi was a humble, friendly, and dedicated servant of God who touched the lives of many within our church and community. He faithfully served as a Junior Church Teacher for many years, nurturing young children in the Christian faith and helping to build a strong spiritual foundation for future generations.

As a vibrant member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) at Norton Circuit, he was an inspiration to fellow youths through his commitment, enthusiasm, and unwavering faith. He also faithfully served in the (MUMC/Vabvuwi), always willing to support church activities and encourage others in their walk with Christ.

Mukoma Runzi was a dependable and selfless servant. Whenever the church required assistance, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether it was organizing events, supporting church programs, assisting fellow members, or contributing his time and energy to God's work, he served wholeheartedly and without complaint.

Beyond his church service, he was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. His kindness, warmth, and cheerful spirit made everyone feel welcome and valued. His life was a testimony of faith, service, and dedication to both God and humanity.

Though his earthly journey has ended, the impact he made through his service, love, and commitment to the church will remain in our hearts forever. We thank God for the gift of his life and for the many lives he touched.

To his family, friends, and the entire church community, we extend our heartfelt condolences. May the Lord grant you comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

Rest in eternal peace, Mukoma Runzi. Your legacy of faith and service will never be forgotten.

Today we had a Pentecost and Beacon Sunday Service. It was a blessed Sunday where our Host Pastor Rev. P. Tsopotsa taught about the full meaning of Beacon as follows:

B - Bold Evangelism
E - Equitable Clergy Welfare
A - Active Worship
C - Comprehensive Spiritual Growth
O - Ongoing Sustainability
N - Nurturing Communities.

She went on to preach about Pentecost from the Bible verses Acts 2 vs 6-8, Acts 1 vs 1-4 with the theme: Zadzwa namweya mutsvene.
We thank God for such a blessed service.
