ICHABOD - The glory has departed

When did you lose it..?

-When Eli heard that the Ark of the covenant had been captured he fell to his death.
Moses said if your presence doesn't go with us then we are not going anywhere.

How are you still moving knowing He's not there..?
You didn't just lose interest in church you lost the glory.

Many man in the Bible would choose to die than walk without the glory, what about you..?

I Samuel 4:18
[18] Then it happened, when he made mention of the ark of God, that Eli fell off the seat backward by the side of the gate; and his neck was broken and he died, for the man was old and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.

YOU DON’T NEED MAN’S APPROVAL — BUT GOD’S APPROVAL

Sometimes the greatest delay in our lives is not because God has said “No,” but because we are waiting for people to say “Yes.”

You can spend years waiting for someone to recognize you, celebrate you, invite you, recommend you, or give you permission to become who God called you to be.

But hear this: What God has approved does not need the approval of man.

David was anointed by Samuel, but his own family did not even consider him when Samuel came looking for the next king. They brought his brothers before the prophet, but David was left in the field tending sheep.

Yet God had already seen what people had overlooked.
“Man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7

People may overlook you, but God sees you.
People may reject you, but God can choose you.

People may underestimate you, but God knows what He placed inside you.

1. Stop looking for validation from people
If your confidence depends on people clapping for you, you will become discouraged when they become silent.

If your identity depends on people accepting you, rejection will destroy your confidence.
But when your confidence comes from God, you can say:
“Even if they don't see it yet, God sees it.”
Jesus Himself experienced rejection. The people of His hometown asked:
“Is not this the carpenter's son?” — Matthew 13:55
They knew His background, but they could not recognize His destiny.
Sometimes people know where you came from, but they cannot recognize where God is taking you.

2. God’s approval is greater than human applause
Galatians 1:10 says:
“Do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?

You cannot fulfill a God-given assignment while constantly trying to please everybody.
There will be moments when obeying God will make you unpopular.

There will be moments when God tells you to move when people tell you to stay.

There will be moments when God says “Go” while people say “You are not ready.”
You must learn to distinguish between God’s voice and the noise of people.

SOME BATTLES ARE FOUGHT IN PLACES YOU MAY NEVER SEE—BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT SEES EVERYTHING.

During this praise, I remembered how the Holy Spirit revealed the spiritual opposition and hidden activities directed against me.

However, my response was not fear. My response was praise.

The Lord did not expose the battle because the enemy was winning. He exposed it to prove that He had already gone ahead of me.

Christ is in front of me. Christ is behind me. Christ is around me.

Therefore, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Perhaps you are currently facing resistance you cannot explain. Perhaps things have been happening around you that you do not understand. I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring divine clarity, expose every hidden work of darkness, and establish the victory of Christ over your life.

Watch until the final declaration.

Dear future pastor's wife or husband, do you know that 99.9% of servants of God have or had anger issue???

Yes, anger is one of common battle among servants of God than lust. Being a wife or husband of a servant of God is a calling on its own, not given to everyone.

Many people see the hypes, they envy that calling, they want to be called mama pastor...ignoring what comes with it.

Most servants of God battle anger issue even before they battle lust. So if you are called to be wife or husband of a servant of God understand that you are called into patience, selfcontrol, humility, and INTERCESSION.

To you dear servant of God,

Understand anger or short temper is a weapon of Satan against your destiny. Moses missed the promised land because of anger. Anger can destroy in one day what you labelled for for years. So pray God, and work out your salvation. Usually God will give you a husband or wife who would seem to challenge that anger, but don't abuse them, don't despise them, they are there to make you better.

I had some serious anger issue as well until God delivered me, may He deliver you too in the name of Jesus Christ! 🙏 RECEIVE GRACE 🖐️

The God who told Joshua, "Lead My people into the Promised Land," did not leave Joshua to accomplish the task on his own.

Joshua was leading the people, but he himself was being led by God.

God will never call you to do something and then abandon you to figure it out by yourself.

What a comforting truth!

When God gave Joshua victory at Jericho, all Joshua had to do was obey God's instructions and shout. He did not have to fight the battle in his own strength.

When God called Gideon, all Gideon had to do was obey. The victory did not come through his own might or military skill.

When God sent Moses to Pharaoh, He did not send him empty-handed. He gave him a rod—a sign of His power and authority.

In the same way, God will never send us to fulfill His purpose without giving us His Spirit.

We are never left to accomplish His assignment alone.

So, I want you to say it with confidence:

"I am never alone. I am never alone."

TOPIC: DIG A NEW WELL

Text: Genesis 26:22 (KJV)

"And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

Introduction

A well is a source of life, refreshment, provision, and sustenance. Throughout Scripture, wells represent God's blessings, opportunities, spiritual inheritance, divine revelation, and prosperity. Isaac understood that when one well was blocked, it was not the end of God's promise. Instead of giving up, he kept digging until God brought him to Rehoboth—the place of enlargement, peace, and fruitfulness.

Many believers remain at abandoned wells of disappointment, rejection, failure, or yesterday's victories. But God is saying today, "Dig a New Well!" There is fresh grace, fresh anointing, fresh opportunities, fresh favour, and fresh breakthroughs waiting for those who refuse to quit.

Isaiah 43:19
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth..."

God specializes in doing new things for those who trust Him.

What Does It Mean to Dig a New Well?

To dig a new well means:

- Pursuing fresh encounters with God.
- Refusing to remain in yesterday's failures.
- Pressing forward despite opposition.
- Developing new levels of faith and obedience.
- Receiving fresh revelation and divine opportunities.

Philippians 3:13–14
"Forgetting those things which are behind... I press toward the mark..."

Three Keys to Digging a New Well

1. Refuse to Stop Because of Opposition

Isaac dug the wells of Esek and Sitnah, but his enemies contended with him. Instead of fighting endlessly, he moved forward until God gave him Rehoboth.

Genesis 26:20–22

Every great destiny encounters resistance. Opposition is often evidence that something valuable lies ahead.

Romans 8:37
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

2. Depend Completely on God's Direction

Human effort without God's guidance produces frustration. Isaac prospered because God directed his steps.

Proverbs 3:5–6
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart... and he shall direct thy paths."

When God leads, impossible doors open and hidden wells are discovered.

3. Keep Digging Until You Reach Rehoboth

Isaac refused to settle for conflict. Persistence brought enlargement.

Galatians 6:9
"Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Breakthrough belongs to those who keep digging.

What New Wells Should Every Believer Dig?

- A new well of prayer (Jeremiah 33:3).
- A new well of God's Word (Joshua 1:8).
- A new well of holiness (1 Peter 1:15–16).
- A new well of faith (Hebrews 11:6).
- A new well of worship (John 4:23–24).
- A new well of generosity and service (Luke 6:38).

Blessings That Follow a New Well

When God brings you to Rehoboth:

- Divine enlargement.
- Fruitfulness.
- Open doors.
- Supernatural provision.
- Lasting peace.
- Victory over opposition.
- Divine favour.
- Overflowing blessings.

Psalm 23:5
"Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."

Deuteronomy 28:12
"The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure..."

Conclusion

No matter how many wells have been blocked in your life—whether in your finances, ministry, marriage, business, health, or spiritual walk—God has not finished with you. The God who led Isaac to Rehoboth is able to lead you into a season of uncommon enlargement and undeniable fruitfulness.

Do not remain in yesterday's disappointment. Do not quit because of opposition. Rise by faith, trust God, and dig a new well, because your Rehoboth is nearer than you think.

Prayer Points

1. Father, every blocked well in my life, be reopened by Your mighty power in Jesus' name.
2. Lord, lead me into my Rehoboth where no enemy can contend with
