It stretches to being with a fellow Sister or Brother as they rejoice in the Lord too. Carmel is a family, where we are there for one another during the highs and the lows. Carmel means walking with each other every step of the way.

Carmel Beyond the Borders

The Third Order Carmelite Choristers of Mutare were blessed to visit St. Matthew’s in Chimoio, Mozambique, for a faith-filled encounter aimed at strengthening the bond of our One Catholic Community between Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

It was truly a grace-filled moment, marked by the special blessing of the Holy Eucharist, fraternal fellowship, joyful interaction, and the sharing of Carmelite spirituality. In the spirit of prayer, unity, and love, hearts were united beyond borders under the mantle of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the zeal of the Prophet Elijah.

May the flame of Carmel continue to burn brightly in every heart and generation.

Carmel is our Home. Forever may Carmel live.
