[ *ALLOW GOD TO FIGHT FOR YOU* ]

2 Chronicles 20:15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s (NKJV)

-Christianity is not always a bed of roses. In our lives we sometimes encounter challenges both spiritually and physically. But regardless of those challenges our Lord God Almighty will fight for us. That is why the word has said, "The battle is not yours but God's"

It does not matter the magnitude of the spiritual army that may try to fight against you because the one who is inside you is greater than that army and He will fight for you in a miraculous way. How many of you are just tired of feeling like you're fighting something all the time? Okay, well then, the way to recover from that is to learn how to let God fight your battles. God has a battle plan and any time we get in a battle we need to know how to fight the way that God wants us to fight. I said this morning that we have weapons but the weapons of our warfare are not carnal weapons, they are not weapons you can see or feel or go to the store and buy so if they are not carnal weapons then they must be spiritual weapons.

The enemy wants you to live a defeated life. Don't give him the time of day. God wants you to live in victory. Let Him fight your battles.Some people are not going to like you and that’s okay. Some people are not going to accept you and that’s fine. Everyone is not supposed to be for you. Sometimes, we’re trying to change people’s minds that are never going to be for us. You keep honoring God, being your best, and God will cause the people you need to be for you and He will take care of your critics. When it’s the right time, just like He closed the mouths of hungry lions, He will close the mouths of those trying to discredit you. That’s not your battle.It is the Lord's.God wil

**Title: Battles That Don't Matter**

*Scripture: _“Please pay no attention, my lord, to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his name— his name means Fool, and folly goes with him.”_ 1 Samuel 25:25,*

In 1 Samuel 25, a very wealthy man named Nabal, who was mean and hard to get along with, had offended and outraged David. So much so that he and four hundred of his men were on their way to kill Nabal and all of his men. David allowed his emotions for revenge to take him in a direction of shedding innocent blood *and hindering his destiny.* Fortunately, Nabal’s wife, Abigail, intervened and persuaded David that her husband was such a fool that he was not worthy of any response. *She reminded David that God was entrusting to him an everlasting dynasty that could be lost through vengeance.*

_You will encounter people who are rude and offensive like Nabal. Ask yourself what Abigail asked David: “Why fight with a fool? Why get in conflict with someone who’s not between you and your destiny?” So what if they don’t like you and make negative comments or leave you out. That’s a test. *Don’t get distracted, baited into being offended, or caught in battles that don’t matter. Stay in peace and rise above it.*_

*Prayer : _“Father, thank You for the example that Jesus showed in His response to insults, false accusations, and being treated shamefully. Thank You that I don’t have to waste my time and energies getting into conflict with those who oppose me. You are my defender. In Jesus’ Name........Amen.”_*
