Structures -Staffing

Having designed a functional structure of choice, another major decision is of placing the RIGHT candidates in those vacancies.
Yes, i said its a major decision because you have to be strong enough to ignore emotions and friendly ties. When selecting people to fill the vacancies in you organization, make sure you scout talent and reward competence.
Put the deserving people in the places arising and you will forever enjoy success.

Many at times entrepreneurs consider their relatives and friends disregarding qualifications and competency and that's a definate recipe for disaster.

Don't get me twisted, Iam NOT saying you should ignore your relatives on your way up but I am saying try to find the deserving ones first and grow to a point where you can raise the rest.
The initial stages of business are critical, staffing error may mean an outright shipwreck for the whole thing and all of you will remain stuck in poverty.
At times its better to take an outsider with skills and competence and the train your relatives by and by without affecting the critical progress of the enterprise.

My personal opinion on this in simple language is: in transport business (kombi), i would rather employ a skillful conductor that will raise $100 and give me $90 than to take a "faithful" boy from my rural home who hand me every cent but can hardly raise $30 per day.
Am not condoning lack of integrity but am highlighting some of the tough decisions you have to make inorder to progress as an entrepreneur....
The young relative of mine may have to come in later , provided he is willing to learn and master the skills.

Get the right staff.
Your organization is as excellent as the people that represent it.

PRAYER AND FASTING release tremendous results if done properly and with the right intentions.
One should understand that these tools are not meant to force God to do something but they are meant to align us to the purposes of God and in that vein, everything we ever need is already there waiting for us.
Now the Word in HEB 4v16 says we should find Mercy and obtain grace to spend in the time of need this is one of the sure ways of finding mercy and obtaining grace to use this year.

We shall be doing this every first weekend of the month:
1. Fasting Saturday and Sunday ,

2. Spending all day on prayer mountain (Sunday ONLY), praying in the Holy Spirit ,

3. and we shall be having half night prayer sessions every first Friday following the mountain experience...

So join us as we rewrite the stories of our lives.
It takes commitment to find mercy and obtain grace to use.

A life without Grace reserve is a wasted life because you can't cease opportunities.... yes such an empty life is like of a man who goes to the market place without money....it's quite frustrating.

How to put structures in your business.

The main idea at this particular juncture is to remain flexible, allowing one self time to relax and meditate.
The moment you loose time to relax and focus , you lose your innovation capability and your business eventually become obsolete.

Some of the major challenges that are faced in entrepreneurship are as a result of operating without clear cut job descriptions and and defined leadership structure because the leader may feel like getting help is being weak or maybe they feel like doing everything retains all authority or some other reasons best known to them.

For starters , here is a basic framework on how one can structure an enterprise.

1. Draft a clear cut leadership structure with specific offices emerging within the organisation as it grow, one may also refer to businesses of the same nature to quickly identify the relevant offices.

2. Identify duties (job description) to be done by office occupants. Identify DUTIES ,not specific people.

3. Scout, recruit, and appoint people to the respective offices , now considering the requirements of the office and qualifications of the prospective candidates.
Don't forget to conduct induction and training processes through workshops to fully empower your team.
In the Bible, we see the Lord Jesus recruiting, TRAINING (empowering) and sending people on a His mission, and the same applies to us. LUKE CHAPTER 9

4. Allow the team some time (say a year) to operate in those offices as you supervise. Yes, there is need to trust your team and allow them to explore and exercise their gifting within your vision.

5. Evaluate performance and take respective actions. After reasonable time, take time to breathe, reflect and evaluate the individuals and the overall progress the business.
Take respective action.

The other reference is drawn from the parable of the talents.

Mathew 25v14-30

When the master gave talents, he allowed time for the individuals to operate and then showed up to PROMOTE the good ones and to SUCK the useless. That's how business should be handled.

Connecting to unusual manifestion of blessings

I've often noticed that when it comes to new year resolutions, so many believers miss the the mark.
They write resolutions in persuit of material things and yet resolutions are not those material things. The Word we claim to believe say, "SEEK YE FIRST......
Resolutions should be what you intend to do inoder to achieve such results and as such , resolutions for a believer should rather be spiritual alignment moves that connects you to unusual manifestation of blessings....

For 2026 and beyond, may you adopt the following fashion of resolutions and see how your lines will fall into pleasant places and how blessings will manifest in unusual ways.

1. To grow my Spirit i.e enlarging my capacity

How to enlarge capacity.

a. Building one's faith through consciously having more of the Word. Romans 10 v17

b. Calibrating one's spirit to be stronger though prayer. Jude1v20

c. Aligning with Devine purposes through fasting often. Acts 10v30, Mat17v21

2. To be a covenant practitioner.
Being involved in a covenant is not enough on it's on, one has to take responsibility to enjoy the benefits of the covenant.
A good example is the marriage covenant, where many people that enter with the wrong perception often find themselves out of the covenant. A married man should provide for the family, yes ,or else regardless of the vows (covenant) made, the wife may decide to leave.
So any covenant comes with rights and responsibilities....
Its your right to be rich in Christ but it's your responsibility to practice the covenant principles spelt in the word and the Word says GIVE and you shall RECEIVE. The key is right there.

How to practice my covenant responsibilities

a. Give your time.
Consciously create time for fellowship with God.

You cannot serve two masters. Mat 6v 24

If you are not able to attend church services because you are attending to money deals , then money has become your master and you know what? , if money is your master , you will never be able to control it.

b. Practice tithing.
Abraham gave a tenth .Heb7v2
Tithing is not an old testament phenomena, tithing did not come with Moses together with the law, NO.
Tithing is a covenant responsibility that was expressed by our Father in the Faith Abraham. He did not give tithe inorder to have the blessing, he gave because he had been blessed.
Tithing is not required of what you don't have , it's a part of what you have already. So as covenant people, the covenant grace enables us to honour God in a way that others find difficult, and that's a key to unusual manifestations.

c. Give your free will offerings.

Purpose in your heart to give . 2Cor9v7
Also give as you purpose in your hearts, as you hear the Holy Spirit speak inside you...

Now get this, these covenant responsibilities are more of your act of obedience than they are a demand for money.
Some covenant responsibilities may be personal and you have to be obedient if you are to make it in this journey of faith.
A believer that is disciplined enough to practice covenant responsibilities is unstoppable.

What do i mean by structures

My journey has been that of a general dealer who evolved into entrepreneurship.
One thing I've noticed is when you are operating as a general dealer, you try to do everything on your own BUT if you try that in entrepreneurship, you are bound to hit a nudge.

As an entrepreneur, you are primarily visionary and founder to a broader dimension of business that cater for quite a number of families; as such , you have to be able to identify talent and match it with arising vacancies as you relieve yourself of some duties to maintain focus on planning and clarity of purpose or else you will be overwhelmed by business growth and drown in confusion.

You may start small, but as time goes on the vision will become more and more clearer and the business is bound to grow beyond what you can physically handle personally.

As the business grows, you definitely find yourself in between old routine tasks and new emerging ones and if you are to remain relevant, you then have to relinquish yourself off the old tasks as you embrace the new ones, that's the point where vacancies arise within your institution and thats where structures become inevitable.

In the layman's language, by structures i simply mean having leadership and functional offices that can handle the day-to-day operations even in your absence.

This whole idea thrives on the backbone of building a business family that you can trust with tasks. Yes, and speaking of trust, thats where many are finding it difficult to navigate the journey of entrepreneurship. I know they say, "trust is earned" , yes but from an entrepreneurial perspective i personally think you should risk it at times even with people that haven't earned it because time is not on your side.
What i simply mean is do not be too hesitant to give people a chance, of course you have to be prayerful and well discerning.

If you cant give people a chance then you will be stuck in stagnation and eventually fall because fate has it that if you are not growing upwards, you will definitely grow downwards, there is no middle ground where you can be static in business

We all pray for business opportunities and business growth but here is what most people miss.
Capital can be a once off miracle but growth and sustainability require knowledge of structures and systems.

Without structures and systems, the very business that you prayed for can send to you to an early grave, yes unofa tikatokuviga wastresswa nebusiness rawakapiwa naMawri pachake.

At one time in the walk of faith , Moses , a great prophet, was elevated by God, he was highly annointed and powerful but that did not exempt him from this stubborn principle of having to put "structures and systems"

Jethro advised Moses to delegate in Exodus 18:17-23. Specifically, Jethro suggested that Moses appoint capable men to help with the workload, and only bring the most difficult cases to him (Exodus 18:21-22). 😊

In his lack of knowledge, Moses thought doing everything was the definition of working hard but that was not true. In fact trying to do everything yourself will jus slow you down , let alone wearing you out and tearing you down physically

Had it not been for His father in Law who helped him with the wisdom of structures and systems, Moses could have been buried dead, yes buried,as annointed as he was and God was not at fault. (Vamwe ndovanoda kuzongopa blame kuna Mwari, ivo Mwari vakakupa pfungwa dzinokwanisa kudzidziswa, seek training)

In as much as we are in a corrupt world where many lack diligence and integrity, pray to God to give the right people that will run with your vision beacuse God never meant it for one to run alone.

Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV):
"Then the Lord answered me and said:
'Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.'"

Note from the above scripture that the VISIONARY has to WRITE and others RUN with it .

A true visionary or entrepreneur should WRITE THE VISION DOWN, such that others may run with it.

Normalise making money in your absence and you will be unlimited.
Seek training and liberate yourself from unnecessary pressures.

Praying for more customers/clients for a business that has no structures will only land you in disaster.

Take time to put structures and systems in your business before the increase in clients expose your inadequacy....

Real entrepreneurship is when you can build capacity through structures and systems that move the daily operational pressures off your shoulders.

Once overwhelmed with daily operations of the business, then there is no visionary anymore and disaster is inevitable.
A good leader stays on the tower for clarity of vision.
