SIN AND ITS RESULTS ADAM’S SIN

For the relationship between God and man to continue without any barrier, God demanded obedience. This obedience was to be shown by man keeping God’s commandments. One of the first commandments that God gave man was, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die” (Genesis 2:16-17). It was a simple command which could be obeyed. Man had no need to disobey, since God had given him freedom to eat of all the other trees. Man, however, disobeyed; for the Scripture says, “When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband, and he ate” (Genesis 3:6). This was a wilful act. It was not done in ignorance. Man knew what he was doing. He deliberately decided that he knew better than God and that he wanted independence from God. In that act, man sinned, for sin is choosing one’s own way instead of God’s way; it is doing that which one knows one should not do and leaving undone what one knows one ought to do.

IN THE BEGINNING GOD’S
PERFECT CREATION
The Bible tells us that God created the world and everything in it, including the sun, the moon, sea animals and land animals... When this was done, “God saw that it was good” (Genesis 1:25). God also “created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). After everything was created, both man and animal, land and sea... “God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). If God saw something and said that it was very good, it must have been perfect in every sense. Man was, therefore, perfect at creation. There was nothing imperfect in him. He was such that when God looked at him, God’s heart was glad and He could say something like this: “This is My perfect and wonderful creature.”
MAN IN GOD’S IMAGE AND LIKENESS
The creation of man in the image and likeness of God was something special to man. The other creatures did not share this nature. God had a special purpose for creating man that way. The purpose was, first of all, that man should be specially related to Him: being able to understand Him, talk with Him, enjoy Him, and glorify Him for ever. Secondly, it was that man should take charge of the rest of creation: controlling it and directing it. The special relationship between God and man was meant to please God and man. God wanted it and man needed it. Although God wanted it, He could do without it. Man, however, needed it if he was to function properly.
FELLOWSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND MAN
God actually did come down to man to talk with him (Genesis 3:8). Probably, during these conversations, man (Adam and Eve) told God that he loved Him and that he was very grateful to Him for creating him, and giving him such a beautiful life and garden. He probably told Him that he would love and obey Him all the time and do everything He asked him to do. These special meetings between God and man must have been wonderful.

The best thing that can happen to a person is giving one's life to the Lord Jesus Christ. The world is full of many things, there are many offers out there. Many are being tossed to and from; back and and forth. Some are chasing the wind of what they call "fun!"

I know of someone rich who once existed in this world- a great king. He had all the riches, he had the wisdom. He was rich.
What is your own definition of riches? Liken it to the riches of that King. He married as many wives as he wanted, many people came from different places far and near just to hear his wisdom. He had all in terms of people: servants, workers of all skill, He was rich and had minerals. After all this "good life, pleasure, enjoyment;" all he could say is Vanity all is Vanity, just chasing after the wind- that's all King Solomon could say.

The best thing that you can get for yourself is God. Get God get life. Get God, get a purpose for living. Get God, get fulfilment. Get God, get blessings. Get God, get salvation.
Come to Jesus today!
Come to Jesus this hour!

Come to Jesus now! Repent of any sin in your thoughts, words, action, desires ,looks, etc. Repent now and turn to Jesus. He wants to forgive you now. Jesus is the answer for your life today, above Him there is no other, Jesus is the way.
COME

THE PATHWAY TO REVIVAL
My son, the year 2009 in Christian Missionary Fellowship International is the year of revival. Each believer is to return to his or her first love for Me. This return to the first love for Me will include freedom from all sin, freedom from all love of self, freedom from all love of the world, freedom from the love of everything that is in the world, freedom from all falsehood, freedom from all s*xual immorality, freedom from all love of gain, freedom from a divided heart, freedom from self-centeredness, freedom from debts, freedom from greed, freedom from laziness and freedom from goal-lessness.
The above thirteen things and attitudes are to be uprooted from the heart and the life of everyone in
the Ministry. This is the first part of revival; the first part of the return to the first love for Me.
The return to the first love for the Lord Jesus Christ will include faithfulness in becoming and being a disciple of the Lord Jesus, praying alone, daily dynamic encounters with God, Bible reading, reading of Christian literature, retreats for spiritual progress, praying with others, giving to God, fasting, soul-winning, making of disciples for Christ, accountability, being a faithful member of a local church, serving the Lord in the domain of His call on your life, living in the centre of God’s will in all things and doing everything for the exclusive glory of the Lord Jesus.
Although the entire year is set aside for revival, if the saints cooperate with Me and, through intensive and extensive prayer and fasting, move Heaven to act urgently, the revival will be upon all the saints in March, and April to December will see an unprecedented move in evangelism, soul-winning and church-planting. I expect hundreds of saints worldwide to carry out 21-40 day fasts between January and March to accelerate personal revival and revival of all the saints in the movement.
There will be revival!
There will be revival!!
There will be revival!!!
There will be revival!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!!
There will be revival!!!!!!!

THE BERTOUA MESSAGE

FAMILY DEVOTION AT BETHANY 27 JULY 2021
1 CORINTHIANS 11

The first thing that I am learning is to keep the teaching as I was given (vs 2). Yesterday during the youth camp God said that He was giving the Bertoua message to the children and I was asking myself what have I done with it. The message is to prepare us for the coming revival and there is a need to obey the message and the teaching that we have been given (DDEWEG).
Paul started by praising them before coming to the second teaching, to correct them. This was really the problem in the church. If it was me I would have started teaching them on that problem full of emotions, the division in the church (vs 18-19). There was a problem but he taught. A disciple maker must teach the disciples and the disciples must obey the teachings.
Bro Theodore gave an example that Rwanda hired Rick Warren and paid him a huge amount of money for that teaching to teach on goals but our ministry is a ministry full of teachings on goals but we are doing nothing with it. I should obey our teachings just as we were taught.
When you see anything in the Bible obey it as it is, even if you’re making mistake and if anyone corrects you let him correct you or teach you differently using the Word of God. I also expected the little girls to put on head coverings because I saw mama Emily and the big girls putting on their head coverings.
When we look at the Bible some have the doctrine, traditions, teachings but when I taught, I taught on the traditions of our ministry because we have abandoned our own traditions and we want to be like others. Search in your Bible the Word traditions, if NIV search for teaching (vs 2).
The tradition of our ministry is the teaching of our ministry. The doctrine of our ministry is how our father succeeded and the legacy that our Father left to us with the aim that we also pass it on to our children. Don’t go looking at what others are eating in their houses you’ll enter trouble, I don’t go comparing with other ministry's teaching, that’s what their father gave them also.
If you go on comparing with other families, you’ll hate your own mother or father. That’s how other Christian behave, they’ll go to Christ Embassy and pick a bit, go to mapostori and pick a bit, go to Makandiwa pick a bit and they have nothing of their own family, their life is a joint service; a mixture. You’re a confused Christian.
Your father can tell you that even though others are doing something in a particular way, but through his discoveries he has scored 95% with his own method yet the others in that particular way are scoring 20%. That is what is called standard, you set a standard. Our father taught us not to take debt but if we look now the world is slowly moving to debt ( loans, green card, etc). Don’t take thing to pay after, that’s what our father taught us and we follow what he taught us. Don’t follow other ministries if they allow debt, their father also taught them that way.
Don’t follow other ministries who allow people to be touched, ours they’re certain parts where we don’t touch, that’s what our father taught us. If we eat our lunch with sadza and beans mixed with derere don’t go comparing with those who eat chocolate, that’s how they do it. Be content of what is at home. If your father failed in his own method, you can question that method.
 In Isaiah God commended the Rechabites who obeyed their father, they did not drink alcohol and build houses. There are other churches who drink wine or take alcohol, their father taught them that way, our own father taught us not to and we should obey that. The traditions of our ministry.
Pray for yourself that you should obey the traditions of our ministry. The Bertoua message is our uniform in CMFI. How many books of Bro Zach have you read? Seek to know our teaching, our doctrine, our tradition and obey.

FAMILY DEVOTION AT BETHANY 26 JULY 2021
1 CORINTHIANS 10
In whatever thing that you’re doing do not cause anyone to stumble, especially in an environment like this were there are some who come around who are serious with God,who really want to follow God. If you’re not careful with the way you live you can cause such to stumble. You should be conscious whether by your ways you’re building. What you’re are doing is it constructive to others around or destructive, even if it seems good to you, you must be conscious of the others around you.
Most of us the way we are doing thing you already know the result, others have done it so learn from them. If there is anything you want to achieve, you know someone who has gone that way, learn and follow from such. Who has an ambition? Who want to be like someone? What do you want to be when you grow up? In whatever you want to be something or someone has captured your heart because you admire those who have made it in that direction.
If you have someone you want to be like and you know how he did it to be there and you decide to go your own way, you’ll obviously not be there. What you’re doing if you look well others went that way and they arrived somewhere. Know it that with what you're doing you’ll arrive somewhere one day. If you want to be a pilot and you play instead of studying be so sure that you’ll be a gardener some day.
If instead of reading your Bible, listening to teachings you’re are watching cartoon, you’ll be a cartoon just like them one day. If your studies are not for God, they’re for the devil and if it is for God you give Him the best.
Who knows a girl who allowed herself to be touched by many boys and has been someone better in the life, be so sure she will be a pr******te in the future. Whatever thing you’re doing if it is not for God it is for the devil and you know where you'll end just like the others in the past who went that way went- you’ll end there.
I always admired Bro Zach and wanted to be like him. Even before I believed I wanted to be a doctor and I studied very hard, I also wanted to be a reverend father because I admired Father Lambert Kigan and I imitated the way he talked. Even in my old books I wrote Rev Dr Nyisome. I knew to be a Father you should never sin especially in the area of s*x because Reverend fathers do not marry.
Whatever thing you’re doing you’re sowing and you’ll reap, be so sure you’ll harvest it, you will harvest it. You will harvest what you’re sowing inside. They were some friend who also when going to school will take their bags just like other but with other clothes inside and when they move out they’ll change their clothes.
In whatever you are doing history has given us enough lessons, you know where some of your relatives went. Pray that God will help you to go right, He will help you as He has helped others before.

FAMILY DEVOTION AT BETHANY 20 JULY 2021
1 CORINTHIANS 8

There are many believers who think that they’re free to do whatever they want,, free to wear whatever they want and that freedom may. We wear taught to wake up early at 4 am to seek God, so I woke up at 4 am when I was a young believer and I sat on the table to hear God and my other sisters where on the bed with their blankets and they slept off in their meditation books. Just their freedom to be in bed caused me as a young believer to grumble in the heart.
We are asked to be conscious and not to be a stumbling block, we should be conscious of others so that we cannot cause others to stumble.
We are in a body don.t say I don’t care of what others think of me. If the mouth says I am tired, no more food, what will happen? Because you’re in the midst with others around you you should be careful. Because of that little child of God you should consider others. I don’t feel free to sit on the table and eat whilst others are fasting because I consider others and I have been like that ever since I came to Zimbabwe
It’s not just you, it’s others, if it causes anyone to stumble, it is not good. There certain things that because of people, because of others in the church, because of others with week conscience in the church, I will not do it. Consider others as a Christian, there are others week among you.
One girl called Cynthia, mama Emily sister’s daughter died whilst we were still in Yaoundé, everyone was very sorrowful but she stood and she was strong but at one point I met her alone with her clothes soaked with years but when she came out she was strong to encourage others. Even Jesus was strong before His disciples even if when he was sorrowful to the point of death.
Most things in the Pentecostal have ruined them because of their so called freedom and that is why most of the things have become religion. In most churches when people are in courtship the girl goes to the boy's place to cook and wash, it is forbidden in CMFI. Drinking bear is sin, what is sin in it. It is because of how people have used it and abused it. We don’t take alcohol.
I don’t want to live any fake life. I live according to what was taught which is what I am teaching you. Live the Christian life, live it as you have understood it but do not let others stumble because of your decisions. Live the Christian life considering other Christians around you.
