7 to 14 April 2026 — Alongside the massive turnout at the just ended Passover Feast conference at Morotashi, one factor that was highlighted that kept the 7-day program running smoothly was the congregation’s punctuality.
From the 9th of April morning prayers for the sick began at 9am with Leaders and Prophets. Most attendees were seated 10 to 15 minutes early, allowing sessions to start on time despite attendance reaching thousands daily. Afternoon Service scheduled for 2pm, consistently began with the venue at near capacity.
The Ministers council led by example by crediting punctuality and shared commitment “The congregation responded. _When people value what is happening, they show up on time.”_
The discipline was especially notable on boys and girls. Sunday School teachers started children’s activities at 10am sharp to pave way for adult sessions. Mr Rukwata’s mathematics classes for secondary learners also began from 10am to 12 mid-day at 9am each day, with full classrooms before the lesson.
Women’s fellowship members set the bar early, gathering at 3am daily for prayer and discussions. dedication.
Bishop K. Chikonyora commended the congregation during the closing session. He noted that timekeeping honored both God and fellow attendees, and reduced pressure on women handling meals,
Those planning for the upcoming S.A. Conference should intend to use the same scheduling framework.
