1 Peter 2:21-25 ESV
[21] For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. [22] He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. [23] When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. [24] He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. [25] For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When

Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother was Azubah daughter of Shilhi. He walked in all the ways or customs of Asa his father, never swerving from it, doing right in the sight of the Lord. However, the [idolatrous] high places were not taken away; for the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. And Jehoshaphat made peace with Israel's king. The rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, his might that he showed and how he warred, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

Ecclesiastes 4:1-8
[1]THEN I returned and considered all the oppressions that are practiced under the sun: And I beheld the tears of the oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors was power, but they [too] had no comforter.
{Are you not part and parcel of the oppressor who is being mentioned here? When others are crying and enduring pain are you comforting them or you are busy laughing and putting the load of heaviness on them.}
[2]So I praised and thought more fortunate those who have been long dead than the living, who are still alive.
{He is praising the long dead than the living because of scenarios which he is seeing today. The wickedness which is taking place is more serious that he doesn't deserve to see it that's the reason he is longing for the dead.}
[3]But better than them both [I thought] is he who has not yet been born, who has not seen the evil deeds that are done under the sun.{The Wiseman here is saying those who are not yet born are better of because they are not seeing the evil on the ground.}
[4]Then I saw that all painful effort in labor and all skill in work comes from man's rivalry with his neighbor. This is also vanity, a vain striving after the wind and a feeding on it.{He saw a painful effort in labour and skill from man's rivalry with his neighbour which
[5]The fool folds his hands together and eats his own flesh [destroying himself by indolence]>
[6]Better is a handful with quietness than both hands full with painful effort, a vain striving after the wind and a feeding on it.
[7]Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun [in one of its peculiar forms.
[8]Here is one alone–no one with him; he neither has child nor brother. Yet there is no end to all his labor, neither is his eye satisfied with riches, neither does he ask, For whom do I labor and deprive myself of good? This is also vanity (emptiness, falsity, and futility); yes, it is a painful effort and an unhappy business. [Prov. 27:20; I John 2:1

1Kings 12vs 1-16

What kind of advice do you get from people? You have to be mindful of the advice you get from people. Discern the advice. Other advices are very dangerous and are not the to build or mould you. Rehoboam asked advice and was ill advised by his friends or people of his generation.

You are at work or be it marriage what type of advice do you get and give others? Is your advice there to build or to destroy others?

We have got people who give wrong advice to others knowingly instead of lessening the burden they end up increasing the burden or pain. It's like someone is bruised and rejected and instead of give comfort, healing and love you put more scars and step on the wounds and increase hate and reject the person.

Let's learn to discern and give good advice to others so that they get restored, healed, comforted and loved
