Be content with any situation you may find yourself in
Good morning believer in Christ Jesus?
It's difficult to understand God's will especially when we encounter and get into various life experiences. Most believers (those who are not yet mature in understanding God's ways of manifesting Himself to people), tend to live with assumptions that because they are followers of Jesus Christ, they are not in anyway supposed to experience hard times. Understanding God's ways of manifesting Himself to us is very important. God puts us or allows us to get into different life experiences as a way of training us to appreciate His glory. Unless we understand why He brings to us such various life experiences, our faith will not grow into full/completion. We will continue to misunderstand His purpose for everything He does to us. And in most cases it is the main reason we find ourselves complaining; "But why me God!" We fail to acknowledge that He is doing it to fulfil what He says in Romans 8:28 in which Paul tells us that all things work for good for all those called according to God's purpose and those who love Him as well. Whatever situation you may find yourself in, know that it is God's way of manifesting Himself to you so that you do His will. This is what today's devotional scripture verses are encouraging us to embrace. Be blessed as you appreciate every situation God puts you through, and trust that He will never let you go through it without Him coming to rescue you, (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Philippians 4:12-13 (NLT) 'I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.'
