MATTHEW 14 vs 25-30
ITS ONLY THE MOUNTAIN WHEN YOU ARE IN THE VALLEY BUT WHEN YOU SHIFT YOUR POSITION YOU GET IN THE PLANE ITS LIKE AN ANT HILL...
After Jesus finished to feed people He then instructed the disciples to go ahead of Him and was supposed to follow behind, these guys were the ones called to follow Jesus not to lead Him,they were supposed to wait for Him to lead them.
Going to pray in the mountain,already His disciples were in the midst of the sea fighting with the waves, they had embarked on journey without Jesus, you face many battles.
He then followed them walking on top of the water defiling the laws of nature, water failed to drown him.
A man coming from the presence of God He had develop the spiritual body and His physical body had become light, prayer does something not only to your spirit but also to your body, when you pray something always happens to you
Seeing him walking on water with their natural understanding they had never seen it in this way a man on water not swimming like they used to know but instead walkin, they thought of Him being a ghost.when you start to walk in the spirit the natural gets confused.
People in the natural will see a different you ,that they fail to understand you,dont seek the natural to understand when you start the spirit walk its a different path altogether.
Jesus seeing that they were afraid He then introduced Himself to them ,but He wasnt willing to join them in their boat, the old system of doing things, they know that a journey on water you need a boat, but Jesus here is introducing a new dimension which is faster than the physical realm of using a boat.
Then Peter asked Jesus if He was really Him walking on water to call Him also, to come where He was, calling Him from the physical boat to the realm of ghosts/ spirits were boats are not necessary.
I believe there are realms where you need a calling to enter in those realm, to start to operate in them beyond the natural.
You need to be called by men who are already there.
Notice Peter didnt say since its you am coming there, but said, bid me, allow me, call me, he was seeing were Jesus was, but He knew certain dimesions you need to be called by the ones who are already there.
Jesus allowing him to come then suddenly he heard the wave rising towards them, notice he first heard the sound of the wave, that made him to shift his focus away from Jesus, sometimes its what you hear people saying about you, that causes you to shift your focus from Jesus.
Be careful of what you hear and see, the moment you start to focus at the wave, challenges,thats when you loose focus on Jesus, you start to fight with the waves in front of Jesus, this wave didnt rise targeting Peter only but it was rising in the direction of both him and Jesus
But Jesus wasnt focused on the waves in the natural realms because He was aware of His spiritual location, on the same platform but Peter was still carnal in the spiritual he begin to sink in the presence of Jesus, things can fall apart right in the presence of Jesus, get sick, broke in His presence, because of failing to maintain your focus on Jesus.
but we choose to focus on the natural realm around us
Jesus wanted to teach His disciples to start to operate in the spiritual dimensions beyond their understanding were there are no struggles,
When Peter was drawning He cried/prayed to Jesus and Jesus picked him and made him to stand on the same platform on top of water, and they both entered the boat walking on water.
I encourage you in times like this ,stop focusing on the waves around you.
let your focus remain on Jesus
