"Faith Doesn't Make Things Easy, Just Possible"

Faith is often misunderstood as a magic formula for effortless success or a trouble-free life. But the truth is, faith doesn't promise easy. It promises possibility. Faith doesn't guarantee a smooth road, but it does guarantee God's presence on the journey.

When we face challenges that seem insurmountable, faith whispers, "He is able." When darkness surrounds us, faith says, "He is light." When our strength fails, faith reminds us, "His power is made perfect in weakness."

Faith doesn't exempt us from difficulties, but it empowers us to face them. It doesn't remove the obstacles, but it gives us the courage to overcome them. Faith doesn't change circumstances, but it changes us, enabling us to persevere with hope and confidence.

In the midst of uncertainty, faith anchors us to God's promises. It reminds us that He's faithful, He's sovereign, and He's for us. So, let's not expect faith to make things easy, but let's expect it to make the impossible possible. For with faith, all things are possible, even when the road ahead seems impossible.

This verse from Romans 8:29-30 speaks about the concept of predestination and the process by which believers are conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

According to these verses, God foreknew and predestined certain individuals to be conformed to the image of His Son. This means that before the foundation of the world, God knew and chose certain people to become like Christ in character and nature. The purpose of this predestination is to make Jesus the first-born among many brothers, implying that believers will share in the inheritance and glory of Christ.

The passage goes on to describe the sequential steps in this process. Those who are predestined are also called by God. This can be understood as God drawing individuals to Himself, inviting them into a relationship with Him. The calling is a result of God's predestination and is a necessary step towards being conformed to the image of Jesus.

Furthermore, those who are called are also justified by God. Justification refers to God declaring believers as righteous and forgiven through the work of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that believers are made right in God's sight.

Finally, those who are justified are ultimately glorified. This means that they will experience eternal life and dwell in the presence of God forever. It is the final step in the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus.

Overall, this passage emphasizes the sovereignty of God in the salvation process. It highlights that God's plan includes predestination, calling, justification, and glorification for those He has chosen. It offers comfort and assurance to believers, knowing that God is at work in their lives and will ultimately bring them into His eternal glory.
