Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 10:17, 3 John 1:2, 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2, Genesis 1:1-3, Job 22:27-28, 2 Kings 7:1

Pastor Chari taught on the power of declaration and the spirituality of God’s Word. He emphasized that declarations become powerful when rooted in Scripture, because every Word carries a spiritual force capable of producing faith, healing, correction and transformation. He explained that understanding the Spirit behind Scripture enables believers to receive its full impact. Drawing from Genesis 1:1–3 and Job 22:27–28, he taught that declaring God’s Word brings establishment, causes light to emerge from darkness, and transforms circumstances.

Pastor Chari made powerful decrees over the congregation, resulting in a visible manifestation of God’s presence, as the afflicted were set free.

Title: Word & Declarations
Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 10:3–5 and Psalm 107:2, Pastor Chari taught that life
Pastor Chari explained that while believers walked in the flesh, they did not fight their battles using physical means. He noted that God provided spiritual weapons that are not carnal but are mighty through Him, capable of pulling down the strongholds, the various forces and obstacles, arrayed against them. He maintained that the reason many remain alive and healthy is that these divine weapons are actively fighting battles in the background.

Regarding the battle for the mind, Pastor Chari warned that personal thoughts could not always be trusted, as the Word requires every imagination that exalted itself against God to be cast down until only His thoughts remain. He connected this to the biblical instruction not to worry about food or clothing, identifying such anxieties as the very imaginations that needed to be dismantled. He cautioned the congregation to remain vigilant in recognizing thoughts that challenged the Word of God, warning that those who resisted the Spirit risked having their own imaginations cast down.

Finally, Pastor Chari concluded that any thought or imagination rooted in God was proven by its obedience to Christ. He instructed believers to oppose every thought that stands against that obedience and to actively encage all negative thinking.

The man of God, Pastor Tera, taught that, "Where understanding is involved, we must stop being children." Drawing from Proverbs 24:3, "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established," he emphasised that while wisdom enables us to build, it is understanding that sustains and preserves the blessings God has entrusted to us.

He further explained that faith is cultivated by the quality of what we hear and receive, as Scripture declares in Romans 10:17: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Pastor Tera encouraged believers to pray for understanding of the one ministering to them, recognizing that what they receive is determined by the faith that has been built within them.

He concluded by reminding the congregation of God's promise in Jeremiah 3:15: "And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." As believers grow in understanding, they become better positioned to receive, preserve, and walk in the fullness of God's purpose and blessings.

Sermon Title: Elevation Part 3

In his sermon, Pastor Chari reminded the church that promotion does not come from the four corners of the earth, but from God alone (Psalm 75:6). If man promotes you, man can demote you, but when God lifts a person, they are secure. Psalm 113:7-9 shows us that God raises the poor from the dust and sets them with princes.

Before elevation, God first works on a person’s mindset, habits, and heart. One cannot sit among princes with a poverty mindset. Character triggers elevation. Like Daniel, an excellent spirit sets people apart (Daniel 6:3). God does not raise people by letting them pull others down. He sets up, not tears down.

Pastor Chari encouraged believers to honour what they want to attract, to not limit God, and to pray for transformed thinking.

Prayer: Lord, transform my mind for Your elevation, standing on Isaiah 60:1 and Deuteronomy 28:13.

Pastor Chari delivered a powerful message on divine elevation, explaining that a low point or being in "the dust", is actually a sign that God is preparing to lift a person up (Psalm 113:7). Drawing from Daniel 9:3, he emphasized that deep commitment during these difficult times triggers promotion, reminding the congregation that neither a painful "pit" nor age can limit God's timeline. He declared that lack has no place in a believer's life because when God elevates a person's core purpose, every other area of their life rises with it.

Pastor Chari then pointed to Genesis 2, noting that traces of dust signify a readiness for change, as God prepares to recreate and better define His people. However, he cautioned that this transformation requires conscious effort, as elevation begins with the words of one's mouth. Finally, reflecting on John 5:6-8, he warned that the "bed" represents systems designed to hold people back. He concluded by urging the congregation to avoid complaining or focusing on others, both of which cause stagnation. They should instead practise gratitude, which naturally opens doors for more blessings.
