Today, being Sunday of Prayer for rain, St. pauls parishiones gathered in the parish garden to offer prayers imploring the mercy of God for a good rainy season. With the effects of the Elnino-induced drought upon the country, all Christians are encouraged to pray unceasingly for a good rainy season. Zimbabwe's economy is anchored on agriculture that depends on availability of water and a good rain season will ensure better yields and guaranteed food security for the country. In his sermon, Fr. James called upon all Christians to repent and ask God's favour for abundant rainfall.
