PSM Africa

PSM Africa How can YOU be a partner in this ministry:

1. Prayer
Many people say they will pray for you but few do.

We are asking for folk to really commit to praying for us, as we believe in the power of prayer and will need prayer cover for the ministry to fulfill Pastor W***y and Trudi went into full time ministry January 1984, and are now in their 33rd year of ministry. They have pastored churches with the Assembly of God church in Zimbabwe and South Africa, pastoring 6 churches in this time, and with God’s

help and gifting have left every Assembly stronger than when taking over. In May 2017, they stood down from being the Senior Pastor in the Assembly of God church in Carletonville to pursue a vision to go back to Zimbabwe and establish a base from which to minister to other Nations in Africa. They have always had a strong call and heart for the Church in Africa, ministering in Zimbabwean churches for the last 12 yrs, and also churches in Zambia. They have a desire to build strong relationships with churches in cities, towns and rural areas, sharing the experiences that they have seen and implemented in their years of ministry.

Hi all. Two Saturdays back we had a marriage seminar for couples in a town a couple hours from us. The couples had to pay to come which covered a tea and a meal. We had 17 couples altogether and it was such a lovely afternoon and evening. People left saying they wanted another one soon and that they would encourage more people to come.

Some of the feedback we got was:

[06/09, 19:13] Many thanks to you and many blessings to you too. What a wonderful day we had. Thank you for having a heart for couples we really appreciate it. God bless!

Yeah it was so touching it really touches people's hearts and a diffrrent good practical approach
[06/12, 19:26] Goodevening. I saw the guys from CBZ and they gave some positive feedback. Here is some of it.

T. (Youth leaders in AFM).
She said her husband dont usually sit down for too long listening. But he did this time around. And when he had to go get their child from church to drop her home, he came back angry because he missed some things. So she said she definitely is ready for another one. Says this isnt effective done once off. She said we mustnt be afraid to charge a fee because it is good to eat as much we like (also put in the fact that more food would have been welcome).
She also said she missed chocolate yet she was ready for it.

K.
This one was so happy. She didnt get to eat because they had already left. They had an emergency to attend to.
She said when they arrived her husband expressed doubt about the whole program because environment was too quiet. But after going through the first lesson, he was excited much.

One of the things she said was of great help to her is the fact that she thought silence solved everything. Now she knows to solve issues by talking them put with her partner. Her worry was how to call time out with him for talking.
The other thing they now have implemented in their home is their talk time together. Just finding time to talk about various things and to get to know each other. They didnt have that. She suggested a trip to Kariba one the coming times ahead.

They both were so thankful.

We truly are grateful to the LORD and are looking at going later towards the end of the year for another day's session.
Please keep praying for us as we are truly needing to reach young married couples where the devil would love to destroy their marriages and thus their homes.

God bless you.

Hello once again. As I said in my last post, God had given us a new mandate for this year. Its been 2 years of journeying with God, sometimes leaving us AMAZED, and at other times a bit confused. We can definitely say God has been working on growing our faith and dependence levels on Him. God never allows things in your life that He doesn't use for the good!

On this journey over the last 2 years we have met some amazing people who really taught us many lessons. We also had true friends who have stood by us in all different ways and we thank God for each and every one of you!!

So....our new mandate is this.... to start a new church from scratch here in Kariba! WOW!!! We are still in the planning processes but our starting date is the first Sunday of March. We are very excited, "happy scared" as W***y would say. We need much prayer. So far God has undertaken for a venue, meeting at the one Christian school in town. We need to do up boards and banners, etc now in February. We are needing finances to do a lot of this, as well as buying a keyboard, some other sound equipment, crockery and cutlery for our connection times, and all those little things that are needed to make the church appealing and well running. And most of all to bring in key people who love Jesus and will be faithful in serving in this new local church. God has shown us He is stepping ahead of us and we are so excited to see how He is working all things out for us.

We see this church as being very significant in reaching into, and training, the nations around us as we have been wanting to do for so long now.

We will keep you updated as we move forward with this mandate from the LORD. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT. God richly bless you.

Its been a busy and very different year 2018. So many things changed from what we had planned. But to say the least, W***y became tbe manager for Nzou Lodges in Kariba from July. It has been amazing to live in the bush, among the wild animals and have them on your doorstep, even though they do eat your flowers and plants!! We wait and see if we will be continuing in this post after March once the home owners vote. God knows His plans for us.

Our two girls have both moved to Zimbabwe as well. We are thrilled with that!

We also have a new mandate from the LORD which we will share in January once God shows us exactly what to do. All VERY EXCITING!!

We trust you have had a wonderful festive season and that you remembered the reason for the season, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God's ultimate gift to mankind.

May this new year ahead bring us into new and exciting breakthroughs in the LORD, and, with the LORD. May God give you the dreams and desires of your heart and may every area of your life bring glory to God.

Thank you for your continued support. We are living in a time of major challenges in all areas of life and living. But we do pray we can reach the harvest for God and more lives will be turned to HIM.

Many blessings to you and your loved ones. Take care on the roads. With love and gratitude, W***y and Trudi.

Hello, we have a young married man who was in an accident 3 weeks ago, where he broke his hips and ball joints in several places. He cannot have the operation done until he is able to pay $5800 (R70000) up front. He is a strong member in our church. We are appealing for any help whatsoever. Please pm me for bank details. God bless you.

The last few weeks in Childrens Church we have been concentrating on the salvation message and several children gave their lives to the LORD. And this last Sunday we did the baptism in the Holy Spirit and 4 children professed feeling different. We did feel God's presence and power as we prayed for the 12 children who stood for prayer. We praise God for His touch on the lives of these precious souls!!

Hi All,
As the year opens to new beginnings so too are we believing God for great things in 2018.
We have already been in Zimbabwe for 4 months and really excited with what God has done with us and through us, and what He has in store for us to do.
Something we would like to share with you is to ask you if you would prayerfully consider partnering with us in our ministry as we continue to trust God to change lives.
We have come to realise that the cost of living in Zimbabwe and higher up Africa is very expensive. Zimbabwe runs at about 3-7 times more than in SA.
We have found a little cottage to live in and hope to be in by mid January.
Our request is if you could help with any amount of finances (Once off or Monthly) it will be greatly appreciated, and we will commit to send you updates and financial updates to keep accountable.

Zimbabwe is at a critical time in it's history. Help us reach the Nation.
