It's not what you get from doing the work of God.It is how you can give value to it while in it.

THE ELEPHANT AND THE DUCK

A Short Moral Story.

One day, a fox went to an elephant and said to him,
"Look, this is ridiculous. The duck is always saying bad things about you behind your back. He is spreading a whole lot of lies out there about you. Teach him a lesson!"

The elephant frowned and said,
"I am going to teach him a lesson and break every bone in his body! You just go back to sleep and leave it all to me"

The following day, the fox went back to the elephant and told him,
"You didn't teach the duck a lesson as you promised you would. Look, this is no longer funny. He won't stop gossiping about you. Don't just keep quiet about it. Teach him a lesson!"

The elephant grunted and whispered,
"Yes, it's time to teach that fool a lesson he'll never forget! You go on, I'll handle this."

On the third day, the fox approached the elephant again and complained to him,
"Oh elephant, you are being too calm and patient. Believe me, the duck is really bad-mouthing you. He tells terrible things about you everywhere. Teach him a lesson once and for all!"

The elephant thought for a while, and then he muttered,
"Alright, I'll go and teach that duck a lesson just now. Get me a cutlass, a shovel and an axe. I'm going to kill him and cut him into pieces!"

The fox hurriedly left, and then returned shortly with the tools; a cutlass, a shovel and an axe. He handed them to the elephant and told him to go and teach the duck a terrible lesson of his life.

However, to the fox's utmost surprise, the elephant collected the tools, went straight to his farm, and began to work with the tools. Filled with wonder and disbelief, the fox asked,
"You told me you wanted to teach the duck a lesson with the tools. What then are you doing now?"

The elephant smiled and said,
"I am too busy with my work to worry about a duck whose only job is to quack and make noise. I am a majestic creature that symbolizes strength and wisdom. I'll never stoop so low as to challenge a creature that is merely known for his talkativeness and noisemaking. So, let me farm with your tools, and I shall return them when I'm done."

In life, many people are like the duck. They quack, gossip and talk behind your back. They could go as far as making lies about you and recruiting others to hate you. Yes, many people are like that. However, you shouldn't give them the attention they need. Be like an elephant that is full of strength and wisdom. Be too busy with your life and never stoop so low as to confront or challenge them. Learn to shrug your shoulders, ignore and understand the differences between an elephant and a duck.

What does Matthew 5:38 mean?
Jesus moves on to another "you have heard," "but I say" topic. This time, He expects His audience has heard the "law of retaliation," often summed up as an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. This comes from God's system of justice for the Israelites as described in Deuteronomy 19:21, "Your eye shall not pity. It shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot."

It's a testament to Christ's influence in changing mankind that modern readers often see "eye for an eye" as vicious or harsh. The reason God gave that law was to prevent escalation, including excessive punishment for crimes. Human nature is to retaliate "plus one." In other words, if you slap me, I'll punch you. If you stab me, I'll shoot you. This pattern of revenge is what turns petty insults into riots, and minor crimes into wars. God's rule for Israel was to limit retaliation and punishment to a fair equivalent of harm. God's teaching about "eye for an eye" was meant to limit violence, not encourage it.

Christ's teaching on the matter, given in the next few verses, reveals the true intent God has for His people. So far as it goes between individual people, God's will is that we do not take revenge, at all (Matthew 5:39). This doesn't mean being weak or passive in the face of blatant violence (Luke 22:36), but it does prohibit seeking to "get even" when we're insulted or abused (Romans 12:19).

GOD HATES RELIGIOUS HIERARCHY : Jesus said, 'Do not let anyone call you ‘Teacher', for you have only one teacher, & ALL OF YOU ARE EQUAL AS BROTHERS & SISTERS. - Matthew 23:8

APOSTLES, PROPHETS, EVANGELISTS, PASTORS & TEACHERS ARE 'ROLES' NOT TITLES OR HIERARCHY IN GOD'S CHURCH (Eph 4:11).

Do not be cheated anymore by preachers, who twist God’s word for selfish gains or force you to follow 'man-made' religion, denominations & its ungodly traditions. STAY AWAY FROM RELIGIOUS LEADERS, THEIR 'CHRISTIAN' CHURCHES & ALL OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP (1 Tim 6:5 KJV, Col 2:8). Blessings to you & yours.

By age 35 You should be smart enough to realize this:

1.. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said.

2.. Silence is better than unnecessary drama.

3.. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete. Competition is a weakness.

4.. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.

5.. Your current job doesn't care about you. They only pay you enough to kill your dreams.

6.. Free yourself from society's advice, most of them have no idea of what they're doing.

7.. Influence most people drift through life. They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs. Lead them.

8. It's better to have 1 friend who's;

Happy for you
Supports your win
Encourage your dreams
Than a bunch of acquittances who are

Lazy
Self-centered
Jealous of your success

9. You'll be 10x happier if you forgive your parents and stop blaming them.

10. No one will ever come save you. Your life is 100% your responsibility.

11.Your inner circle should be more focused on money, success, and starting a family.

12.You don't need 100 self-help books. All you need is actions and self-discipline.

Believe in your heart and soul that you are capable of big things in your life.

The only thing that is standing in your way is yourself.
