On Saturday, 16 May 2026, the Sunday School Organization successfully gathered Sunday School teachers from across the district for a highly productive workshop. The meeting was well attended, and the objectives of the workshop were greatly achieved through meaningful discussions, teachings, and fellowship.

Congratulations and appreciation go to Reverend Mugunzva, the MIC, Reverend Dhiriza, the DYP, and the District Bishop, Reverend P Simango, for their leadership and support in organizing such an important gathering for the growth of the church.

The workshop reminded the church that Sunday School points to the future church, especially when children are well nurtured in Christian teaching and discipline. A powerful illustration was shared that youths are like the waters of Kariba Basin: when properly channeled, they generate electricity and bring development, but when not well guided, they can leave behind a trail of destruction.

The District Bishop encouraged all Sunday School teachers to remember that they are gatekeepers to the growth of Methodism. Through faithful teaching, nurturing, and guidance, they help shape a generation grounded in divine religion and committed to outward evangelism.

May God continue blessing all those serving in the ministry of children and youth development.

This meeting has become a springboard for greater and brighter days ahead for MYD in Kadoma District. We believe God is raising and strengthening the ministry for continued growth and impact.

Special congratulations and appreciation go to MIC Reverend Mutize, the DYP, Reverend Dhiriza, and the District Bishop, Reverend P Simango, for their leadership, guidance, and commitment in making this gathering a success.

May the Lord continue to bless the work of MYD and all those serving faithfully in His vineyard.
