_And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town, and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.[Mark 8:22-26]_
When Jesus heals the man, for the first time he asked him what do you see and he responded with an astonishing answer, “I see as trees walking”. So Jesus put his hand again and this second time is when the man began to see things clearly. Restorations and transformations are things that are not always instant as many people might want.
Many people want instant manifestation of their breakthrough to the point of becoming a dangerous Christian. We are sometimes too eager to receive a miracle or a financial breakthrough. But understand that the blind man was laid hands by Jesus more than once so that he could see clearly.
Does it mean Jesus could not heal instantly? Obviously No! But this story has been recorded for us to know that we can have two stages in our breakthrough, The preparation stage and the manifestation stage. But before Jesus heals this man he did something that is unusual. The bible says Jesus took the blind man by his hand and led him out of the city.
Even after the miracle still Jesus emphasized something that is worth questioning ourselves. The bible says that:
_Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”_
_Mark 8:26_
Jesus actions, especially surrounding the accounts His miracles, were intentional and had purpose. We are sometimes surrounded by things and people that block our breakthroughs. The blind man had to be removed out of town to be healed and Jesus told him not to go back to the city or tell anyone in that town. What is it that is in Bethsaida? What surrounds us-: Our friends, relatives, possessions might also be obstractions to our breakthroughs. Becareful Child of God, God Bless you today!
