I have almost completed my manuscript for editing and in my search for an editor, I was asked the question "what made you decide to write this book?". Spoiler Alert! I do talk about it in the book, so I will begin the previews with an excerpt relating to this question.

When I first came to faith, I found myself irresistibly drawn to prophecy, particularly eschatology, the study of end times and the second coming of our Messiah Yahshua. I immersed myself in the prophetic books, spending countless hours studying their mysteries. I listened to sermon after sermon, watched video after video from various commentators, absorbing their interpretations and predictions. After some time, however, I noticed something that troubled me, a pattern that repeated itself with alarming regularity each year. The declarations came like clockwork: โJesus is coming on this specific date,โ or โHe will return during this appointed feast, this is the season of His coming!" At first, these proclamations didnโt strike me as strange. After all, I desperately wanted to be taken up in the rapture. I wanted to go home to heaven. And perhaps more than anything, I feared being labelled a scoffer; one of those who questions the Lordโs return.
This fear of discomfort, this anxiety about asking difficult questions, led me down a dangerous path. I became caught up in the excitement, believing that these teachers possessed some divine revelation that the world desperately needed to hear. I suspended my discernment in favour of an external stimuli of anticipation. Yet Yahshua Himself addressed this very issue when He spoke to the multitudes:

His words pierce through our hubris, our comfortable assumptions. We possess the ability to read natural signs with accuracy, yet when it comes to spiritual discernment we are grasping in the dark. To truly understand the times in which we live and the plan of Yah, we so often fail.....
