Studies show that children with “invisible” disabilities are the least likely to attend church, and many parents indicate that their neurodivergent children have been excluded at church.

One parent argues that the church needs a culture shift.

She writes, “Inclusion begins with recognizing that every person, regardless of ability, is created in the image of God and has gifts to offer the church community.”

The Reason Why The Book Of Esther Was Written In The Bible

The book of Esther is a powerful reminder that being a follower of God means living in obedience, courage, and faith — even when it is difficult. Although God’s name is never directly mentioned in the book, His hand is seen throughout every moment, showing that He is always working behind the scenes for His people. 🙏

Esther was an ordinary young woman placed in an extraordinary position “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). When her people faced destruction, she had to choose between comfort and obedience. Even though it could cost her life, Esther courageously trusted God and stepped forward in faith, saying, “If I perish, I perish.” Her story teaches us that following God is not just about believing in Him — it is about obeying Him fully, even when fear, pressure, or uncertainty try to stop us.

Mordecai also showed unwavering faith by refusing to bow to Haman, choosing obedience to God over approval from man. In the same way, followers of Jesus are called to stand firm in truth, remain faithful in a world that constantly pressures us to compromise, and trust God’s purpose for our lives.

The book of Esther points us to Jesus — the ultimate example of obedience. Jesus obeyed the Father completely and gave His life to save us. As His followers, we are called to love Him by obeying His commands (John 14:15), trusting that God can use ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.

You may not fully see what God is doing right now, but Esther reminds us that God is always working, always faithful, and always in control. He has placed you where you are for a reason. Walk boldly, trust Him completely, and obey His voice. ✨
