A NEW CHAPTER IN CHITUNGWIZA!

The Harare International Church of Christ is thrilled to announce the launch of its Chitungwiza congregation! This milestone marks a significant step in our mission to share God's love, build community, and serve others.
For years, disciples from Chitungwiza have traveled to Harare for worship and fellowship. From 1 February 2026, we're bringing the church closer to home!
Evangelist Edwin Shumba shared a desire to see the Chitungwiza ministry grow and thrive through the leadership of George and Tambu Chikowa,as the Spirit leads.
Join us on Sundays at 10 am for worship, fellowship, and great bible studies after church at Zengeza High 1.

HICOC Marrieds Retreat 2025

The marrieds time at Urban Lifestyle was a refreshing, meaningful, and deeply enriching experience. From the moment we checked in on Friday, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a weekend dedicated to growth, connection, and spiritual renewal. The meet-and-greet allowed couples to relax, reconnect, and ease into the retreat environment, followed by a beautiful moment of collective prayer that aligned our hearts and intentions.

Saturday was the heart of our retreat—a day filled with transformative conversations and practical insights. Through the sessions on Divine Ownership & Humble Stewardship, we were reminded that our finances are not merely a practical matter but a sacred stewardship entrusted to us by God. The discussions on in-laws and extended family shed light on how marriage can be a safe sanctuary even when navigating external relationships. The breakaway sessions allowed men and women to engage openly, reflect deeply, and be strengthened in their distinct roles and shared purpose. The evening dance was a joyful celebration of love, unity, and companionship.

Sunday’s Sermunion service beautifully capped the retreat, grounding us once again in God’s presence and reminding us that every bond—emotional, spiritual, and marital—is sustained by Him.

Overall, the retreat provided a balanced blend of teaching, fellowship, rest, and fun. Couples left refreshed, better equipped, and more connected both to each other and to the divine purpose of their union.
