*26* *And I will give you a new heart,* and I will put a new spirit in you. *I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.*

SELF EXAMINATION
Ask yourself the following question , (l am asking myself too) and answer it sincerely,
_"How is my heart: is it not stony and stubborn?"_Sin is deceitful. It tells lies, and such lies harden the heart making it stony and stubborn: cold, unrepentant, impenetrable, full of arrogance, pride, unforgiveness, insensitivity to sin. 1 Samuel 17:4-6
[4]And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
[5]And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.
[6]And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.

It is this description of Goliath that makes him untouchable. His appearance, was something a normal human being will never dare touch. His big frame, made all Israelites soldiers look very small and useless. His words too, added to his advantage, Because he knew very well that he was big and frightening, he will say, "l will represent the Philistines" kuzvitemba kwa Goriyati!

And it is because of that frightening status of Goliath that made David great too, Even the king will not allow it that David should fight Goliath, that was ridiculous indeed, a small boy like David fighting such a monster?

And David fought Goliath, and he defeated him. Kukura kwa Goliath, kwakapa David mbiri, For David had defeated a giant. look at it this way see that big problem you are facing? All of us here may not have solutions for it because we are afraid too, like David face it and know that God is by your side. Handi pese paunokunda nekuti wakurudzirwa, Goliath raive Giant, na mambo vakati kwete, asi chikomana David chakakunda, Pamwe pacho Iva gamba mumatambudziko ako, mira segamba Mwari ndi Mwari!

Because we are with God, we must see things differently, The approach to circumstances must be totally different from those vasingatendi, Faith inodukupisa zvikuru.

Despite all the warnings about the results of sin, people continue to sin. The word had been preached, taught, Hynmes had been sung, Crusades, Revivals, All nights, Sunday services, Holy Communion etc. Preaching points have been opened And Local churches and sin continue to be among Christians . Pastors, Evangelists and Choristers are among us but still our hearts are longing to do wrong?

We lie so well and so smoothly like we are trained to do so or are we? The devil is so cunning. He is the deceiver of mankind, munyengeri. He is a liar. He always want us to be like him. He want us to rebel against God so that he will say to God, "you see, l rebelled because you are not just, your people are rebels too". When we lie, and we always say "the devil is a lier?" who is a better devil now? Hurt is of the devil. Jealous is of the devil. Cheating is of the devil. When ever we are engaged in evil activities, we have engaged the devil. Paya patinoti, " Ndoda kumugadzirira size" that's the devil at work. Kunyeya ndekwa satan.

Watch now the Lord of hosts declares, the day of judgement is coming burning like a furnace.

Do no harm, do good and stay in love with God

For many a time you have tried A, B, C... and nothing have materialised, do not despair, rather rejoice in the Lord of your salvation. God knows the time and the technical know how for everyone's break through.

The Devil knows how desperation brings weaknesses in us, some situations are created so that the desperation in us is provoked, and alas we forget all about God, and we are found wanting, be it at work, at school or in the community, Mwari chete ndivo vakafana kunamatwa. Shadrach, Meshack & Abednego vanoti, "our God is able to deliver us!, And He will" and they go on to say, " But if He doesn't, we will never under any circumstances serve your gods"
There is no excuse for being promiscuous in the name of finding a job.For being corrupt, Be strong and know that God is ABLE. Be ye of strong characters in everything and know that you are sons and daughters of the Living God.

Exodus 16:15
[15]And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Israel, a chosen generation yet they never ceased to complain to God. They even went on to worship idles.. They did all sorts of things which shows ungratefulness. Some worshiped a golden calf. And some sinned with other men's wives, and 23000 fell dead. Others tried the Lord's patients, and they died from snake bites

On this scripture, they had complained, 'you have brought us into this wilderness to kill us with starvation' But we all know how gracious Our God is? How is it now that we some times filled with great doubts? We forget all the scriptures, what God said? We are an amazing generation ourselves, very quick to forget of the Lord's works and promises.

Now God delivered food to them
When the people of Israel saw it, they asked each other, 'What is this? " (manna). If you look around your life, surely pane paunoti, Ndini here Mwari? Paripo pawakatobviswa paunoti ndini here? Hazvaiva nyore, hazvaitarisirwa, hawaifanira. A' what is this' situation it was. Yet we forget sometimes, and the very minor thing which is negative, in our lives, we hang on to that as if God had ceased to exist.

Think of it dear brethren, God loves me and you. Zvatakaitirwa zvikuru pane zvisati zvaitwa. We got all reason not to be frustrated by the negatives. Rather trust the Lord whose solutions are so amazing and unpredictable that, one morning you will be like, "what is this"?
