DOMINION: THE THREEFOLD STRATEGY FOR OVERCOMING!
Revelation 12:11:
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
This is not just a verse—it is a strategy. A divine blueprint for victory in spiritual warfare. It reveals how believers overcome the enemy—not in theory, but in reality.
1. THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB — THE FOUNDATION OF VICTORY
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb…”
This speaks of the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The blood is not symbolic only—it is legal, spiritual, and eternal.
What the blood does:
Cancels sin
Silences accusation
Restores access to God
The enemy cannot stand where the blood has spoken.
👉 You don’t fight for victory—you fight from victory. The cross settled your position.
2. THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY — THE VOICE OF FAITH
“…and by the word of their testimony…”
Your testimony is not just your story—it is your weapon.
Testimony means:
Declaring what God has done, is doing, and has promised.
It aligns your mouth with heaven, releases faith into your situation and confronts the lies of the enemy
📖 Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”
*Silence gives space to fear but truth spoken releases authority.*
👉 When you declare God’s truth, you enforce what the blood has already accomplished.
3. THEY DID NOT LOVE THEIR LIVES — THE HEART OF SURRENDER
“…and they did not love their lives to the death.”
This is the deepest level of victory, not fearlessness—
but surrender!
This means that their identity was not rooted in this world, their security was not tied to comfort and their loyalty to Christ was unshaken—even in death
True authority comes when self is no longer on the throne.
Application:
Revelation 12:11 reveals a complete system:
The Blood — What Jesus has done!
The Testimony — What you declare!
The Surrender — How you live!
Victory is not about fighting harder. It is about standing correctly.
Covered by the blood
Speaking the truth
Living surrendered
The enemy is not defeated by emotion—he is defeated by truth applied.
