Prayer:
Individuals are encouraged to join us in The Upper Room in corporate prayer before the morning service at 8 am. A dedicated team is available after each service to pray with anyone who is in need of support. Mid-week Bible study groups:
There are a number of groups that meet at various times and venues during the week. Choose from a ladies morning or afternoon group, a men’s discussion gr
oup and a number of evening groups that offer teaching, discussion and fellowship. Details are available at the church office. Youth programme:
We have a vibrant CHILDREN'S CHURCH meeting alongside our Sunday morning service. This caters for children in pre-school through to Grade 7. A CRECHE operates every week to care for toddlers during the service. Mothers can stay with their young babies in the Cry room – a comfortable nursery in the main church where the service is relayed. On Friday evenings, KIDS UNITED FOR CHRIST catering for 9-12 year olds, meets at 5:30 pm at the church. At 6:45 the senior youth, meet, also at the church. There is a SATURDAY EVENING YOUTH BIBLE STUDY for young people from Form 4 upwards. This provides a firm foundation and preparation for our young people before they go to study or enter the work force. Missions and outreach:
BBC actively supports a number of missionaries and mission organisations. We also use EEIII, a structured personal evangelism programme to teach and enable individuals to witness to their faith. The PANTRY SHELF ministry helps meet the needs of a number of elderly folk in our congregation. The CARE MINISTRY which responds in the event of personal, family sickness or other crises. FRIENDSINDEED are available to pray or lend a listening ear during times of crisis or distress. KIDS is an exciting new ministry for Kids in Divorce Situations These support groups are for children ages 4-12 who, for any reason, live with only one parent or with neither biological parent. It provides a safe environment for children to express their feelings, learn coping skills, and start to see themselves as children of God.
