Do not faint keep believing in Jesus Christ

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

1 Peter 4:14-17

The world is full of untoward voices that may tire your mind and regress your spirit. Many profess to know and believe in Jesus Christ yet they deny him with their works.

You can be maimed, laughed at as well as be humiliated in order to throw you off and denounce the faith. Do not be the seed that fell on the soil with thorns and was thus choked as it grew.

Temptations will always be there, untoward friends and relatives will always be there, disappointments will always be there however you and only you are responsible for staying committed unto Jesus Christ.

Keep believing in Christ, stay strong and do not be ashamed of the worthy Gospel. When judgement comes on the day that Jesus returns to call us into the new Heaven, we should be holy and blameless on the day of judgement.

Prayer: May God grant me the strength to fight against temptations as I tenaciously hold onto my faith till the second coming of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Keep your mind pure and hold onto your faith

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Titus 1:15-16

Paul appointed Titus as a Bishop to an island called Crete. This Pauline epistle is a moral code for all that are called to the priestly office however, this book is also relevant for all Christians today who want to live a life without sin.

Paul is urging us all to keep our minds pure, if our mind is pure then our conscience can also be pure thus being able to clearly distinguish between good & bad as well as right & wrong.

The life of a faithful believer is preached by their daily life, what we do, how we act and react as well as manner of speech speak volumes about our faith. We aught to be careful about preaching magnificently with our tongues yet our daily lives defile our Heavenly sermons.

We should hold onto to the teachings of Jesus Christ, bear witness to his love by constantly living a holy life and staying in prayer.

Prayer: May God grant me a pure heart, a clean mind and a pristine conscience in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

It is never too late to be Saved

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

The Love of God is unending therefore his continuous will is for mankind to repent from sin. We reconcile with God through Jesus The Christ who is an expiation for our sins.

Whatever guilt, regret and shame that hinder you from fellowshipping with God as well as your fellow believers can be washed clean by Jesus Christ. There is no darkness that can overcome light therefore have faith, believe and you will be saved.

It is never too late to Believe and be saved.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus The Christ, I confess my sins and do repent. May your light shine in my life and my spirit enter your Kingdom, Amen.

Love out of a pure heart

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 1:22-23

Without a pure heart one cannot truly Love in all honesty. Love is insufficient when it is only in word while devoid of action.

The apostle Peter is fostering unity through Love. Without love we cannot be united, there is no progress, our socio-politico environment is heavily toxic and we thus become a corrupted generation.

The word of God is pure water for our spirit, it freshens our soul and impart true love that we seek. To love and be loved fervently by God is the truest feeling we encounter when we are in Christ.

Without him it will never be enough, what we feel for our family, relatives, friends, colleagues and spouses is just but the shallow pools of Love.

The deeper meaning is in Jesus Christ. Love yourself and love one another in Jesus Christ.

Prayer: I pray for the Heavenly Love to be upon me as I share that very love with all mankind. May I be loving and hospitable in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

The Meek shall lead by Faith

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1 Peter 5:4-6

There is a great temptation to gloat in our prowess stature as well as feel untouched when we have achieved much. Life can be so generous and we thus become successful beyond our imagination however; this is not a license to exalt ourselves.

Humility is the key to healthy relationships with God and Mankind. We are so ever abound by grace therefore we are urged to be mindful of being pompous when we do prosper.

God loves the humble, adores the meek and blesses the weak. In due time God will lift you up therefore be patient as you wait for the arrival of the Chief Shepherd Jesus The Christ.

Prayer: I pray that life continue to be prosperous in my favor through your Heavenly grace and may I be humble in all meekness as I receive your blessings in the name of Jesus The Christ, Amen.

We are all graced with a chance to shine

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Ecclesiastes 9:11

Our lives are like popcorn which was grown in the same field at the same time, nourished with the same nutrients, cared for by the same farmer and packaged by the same company.

The only difference is that the corn will never pop at the same time. Our lives may have started the same way, progressed at the same time however we prosper differently. The difference is in time and chance of that occurance.

God does all things simultaneously at his time as opposed to doing it concurrently in just one chance. This is the beauty of life therefore we should be patient and thus wait for our time and chance to be blessed. We are all graced with the chance to shine in our lives however this will never happen in one go at the same time.

Be patient, be hopeful and be prayerful your time will come.

Prayer: May God bless me with patience so that I may joyfully wait for my time and chance to be blessed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Blessed are the Disciplined for the doors of Opportunity shall be Opened

He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

Proverbs 22:11

The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Proverbs 15:24

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24

God loves mankind unconditionally, even though they sin continously he has never withdrawn opportunities from their doorstep.

Prayer and work combined fuel your journey towards success. A person with a pure heart has a composed tongue, is able to build relations as well as make lasting impressions to all who come in contact with them.

King Solomon knew that discipline is the straightest way to success. Without discipline you cannot build a network of friends, you fail to attract important people who will impart knowledge and resources towards your business or project.

Remember that a person that has friends should show himself or herself friendly. Never make the mistake of isolating yourself and hope for success to come your way, in all honesty you are deceiving yourself. Everyone is important, a poor man with wisdom is better than a rich man without discipline.

Being intellectually learned without discipline is a recipe for disaster. Failing to befriend a king due to your untoward behavior is equally disastrous.

Pray, work and be disciplined; God will surely open doors of opportunities in your life.

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven, may you build my character to be worthy of your blessing, in The Name Of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Tame your spirit to have what is needful

The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

Proverbs 13:25

King Solomon having tasted all life had to offer and the pleasantries of his throne, he realised that we can have what is enough.

A righteous person will satisfy his/her immediate needs like having food, clothing, and shelter. One can be content filled with love and happiness because he/she has mastered the skill of taming his/her spirit to take things that are needful and realise that it is enough.

The wicked will never be satisfied no matter how much they take. They keep on wanting more and thus continually increase their gluttonous level of consumption. Greed will beget selfishness, lust and unending desire.

When you eat learn to consume what is needful, when you go shopping learn to buy what is needful, when you occupy land learn to take what is enough.

Learn to tame your spirit in receiving what is sufficient and needful without excessively hoarding.

Prayer: Our Father who art in Heaven, may you tame my spirit so that I may be content and grateful with receiving what is needful in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

God should be present in your Business/Enterprise

A false balance is an abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

Proverbs 11:1

Every business is run on sound principles that enable it to efficiently perform and register significant growth. When running your business or enterprise Christian principles of love, honesty and fairness should be the firm foundation.

God will never bless a dishonest business that is unethical and malpracticed. You cannot run a business filled with dirty proceeds and expect Heavenly blessings to manifest on unjust balances. A bad business is an abomination to God therefore total repentance is required before God can venture in your Business or Enterprise.

A God fearing business does not cheat on its clients, treats it's employees fairly, develops communities and sustains the needs of the family.

God should be present in your business.

Prayer: May God Bless my business/enterprise, enable it to grow and develop livelihoods in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

You are The Heavenly Ambassador in a Dark World

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Isaiah 60:1-2

Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Isaiah 60:20

The book of Isaiah is filled with sobering accounts of Israel's sin and rebellion as well as warnings of their coming judgement. But along with warnings, Isaiah also offers a message of hope—a suffering servant, a coming Messiah, who would come to establish God's Kingdom on Earth and create a new Jerusalem.

There is nothing new under the sun for today's scripture tells us that darkness shall cover the earth whereas gross darkness shall engulf people. Truly we may testify that we are indeed experiencing dark times. Dark powers are being sought in persuit of riches, poisonous tongues filled with hate speech are bullying innocent people on the cyberspace and oppression through GBV is faced in our very own homes.

Today crimes are rampant in the world that we live in, there are wars, armed robbery, murders, political unrest & polarisation and petty crimes such as pickpocketing. Darkness has painted a bleak picture as in the times of the prophet Isaiah.

Our hearts and minds may be far from God, to make it worse our personal sins further increase that distance on a daily basis. We may fear our neighbour, fail to trust our relatives or be disappointed with our socio-economic settings but there is God in Heaven who is our light and you are his/her ambassador of truth, love, peace and justice.

We are being called upon to arise, shine and be the living example of a true Christian who follows Jesus Christ. When the world loses hope you are the messanger of hope carrying the living word. When the world is dead you are the messanger with the living word from Christ that will resurrect broken spirits and when it is dark with demons tormenting us with untoward temptations remember that you are the light filled with the living word from Heaven that will banish all dark forces from this earth.

The days of your mourning shall be ended, take up your cross and follow Jesus Christ who is the true light.

You are the Heavenly Ambassador in a dark world.

Prayer: May the grace of God be upon me as I shine in the dark and live an exemplary life as a Christian, Amen.

God our Heavenly Shield

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31

God is our shield and our guide, he gave his only begotten son that whoever may believe in him will not perish but have an everlasting life. This level of Love and sacrifice proves that we are his beloved creation therefore he will protect us by every means.

Who can be against us if the love of God is upon us? Paul knew the troubles of this world, was persecuted like us, tried under false charges like us yet he was theologically as well as physically undefeated.

The world will persecute you, demons will haunt and torment you even the devil will tempt you so that you fall from grace. None of these will separate us from the love of God therefore we can boldly declare the very statement, "who can be against us?"

Be steadfast unto prayer God is your shield.

Prayer: God you are my light in the dark and shield in the wilderness, may your love continue to be upon me in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
