SFX PARISH CHOIR is inviting every parishioner, young and old, to join them for choir practice every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.

In these practice sessions, the choir will be doing Sunday mass preparations as well as teaching the Section choir competition songs so it is of paramount importance that every parishioner attends.

Retrouvaille Weekend

Retrouvaille Marriage Program is the name of a Catholic Christian-based program designed to help couples in marriages find healing, improve communication through INTENTIONAL DIALOGUE, REBUILDING TRUST and REKINDLE THAT INNER JOY AND GRATITUDE.

The program originated in Canada in the late 1970s. It typically includes a weekend experience followed by a series of post-weekend sessions.

Retrouvaille (pronounced re-tro-vi) is a French word meaning "rediscovery," referring to the joy of reuniting with someone after a long separation. It signifies a deep, emotional reunion, often used to describe the profound, nostalgic feeling of reconnecting with a loved one.

Through the Family Apostolate Commission, the first Retrouvaille weekend will be held in Harare and facilitated by a team of 3 couples and a priest from South Africa.

*Date: 11 - 13 September 2026*
*Venue : Silveira House*
*Cost: $140 per couple*

We invite all couples to register and attend this life changing experience.

Yesterday the 4th of July we were deeply honored to witness the Episcopal Ordination of our former parish priest, Sekuru Patrick Ngwenya🙏.

To Sekuru Ngwenya we say:

Dear Sekuru Ngwenya.

We are deeply honored to have experienced your teachings first hand when you were our parish priest. You taught us the importance of Mass in the life of a Catholic and you instilled in us an elevated sense of seriousness when it comes to issues of the Liturgy.

We recall a message in one of your homilies, “We do not preach the prosperity gospel and neither do we preach the gospel of poverty, but we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ”

To this we say, May the same Spirit that resurrected our Lord Jesus Christ continue to protect you and guide you in this new and even bigger role of being the Bishop of the Diocese of Chinhoyi.

Congratulations to you Sekuru Ngwenya🙏.
