PURPOSE STATEMENT
We exist to love God, love His people and serve them both as we :
a) Continue steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine, fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer. (Acts 2:42)
b) Go into all the world to preach the Gospel, baptizing the saved, castingout devils, speaking with new tongues and healing the sick (Mark 16:15-18)
Our members purpose to:
a) Live under the Lordship of Je
sus Christ in every area of their lives
b) Submit to the Word of God as the final authority for faith and every day living. c) Follow and be equipped by the church leadership as the follow Christ, are led by the Holy Spirit and taught by the Word of God. d) Maintain the unity of the Body by acting in love towards other members, finding my places of service and becoming a joint that supplies according to Ephesians 4:16. AIMS
Our aim is to :
1. To share and spread the good news of God’s unconditional and steadfast
love, His unmerited and unequaled grace, His endless mercies and His
loving kindness as espoused in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as a means to make salvation freely and equally available to all.
2. As we do 1 above, we aim to transform peoples lives in practical Biblical ways, using Biblical principles so as to bring personal growth, restore marital bliss, reestablish family health and build Godly communities for the good of all mankind and for the glory of God. OBJECTIVES
To preach, teach and spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to:
i. Build strong and healthy marriages through sound Bible based
teachings, thereby strengthening families and developing healthy
communities so as to reverse all the social ills bedeviling our nation
and our world today. To break people free from guilt and shame, poverty, sickness and
disease and anything else that may have held them in bo***ge,
thereby enabling them to become the best they can be and achieve all
that God has uniquely wired them to achieve, for the good of one and all. To address and reverse such societal ills as crime, broken homes,
juvenile delinquency, unemployment etc. by penetrating such places
as prisons and establishing such facilities as orphanages etc necessary
to afford inmates and vulnerable groups or communities eg orphaned
and vulnerable children, equal opportunities for salvation,
rehabilitation, restoration, education and any other basic life needs
iv. To be involved in and partner with any other organizations, whose
vision, aims, objectives and ethos match ours, in initiatives that help
us fulfill our vision and goals.
