A DAY OF CHOICE!

But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” – Joshua 24:15 (NLT)
Every day you make lots of choices. You choose what to wear, what to eat, and lots of other things. In all the choices we make each day, sometimes not a lot of thought is put into who we are serving.

Today’s Bible verse tells us to choose today who we will serve. If you’re not actively choosing God, then who or what are you choosing?

Choose to serve God, it’s the best decision you can make .

Ultimately, you are responsible for where you are in life and your relationship with God. You have to make the choice to choose God and to go after Him wholeheartedly. So make the decision today !

As for me my House we chose to serve God blessed Sunday family.

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Kingdom Greetings to you all.

We thank God for the new Month. We have a new hope!! And we have assurance that our hope is built on the promises of God.

The story is told of a foolish man who built his house upon the sand, and when the storms of life came against it, it quickly came crashing down and was washed away. Just one blow and the house was gone!!.Then Jesus tells us about the wise man. The scriptures say that the wise man built his house upon a ROCK, a firm foundation, a secure footing, and when the WINDS beat against it the house stood…and when the RAINS came against it the house stood still…and when the FLOODS waters began to rise the house stood…and when the STORMS with all her furry came against the house, the house still stood!!! Why? Because the house was built on a firm foundation.I have highlighted four challenges here that were coming against the house i.e the WINDS, RAINS , FLOODS and STORMS.Looking at these (4) their nature and impact are different.But the only common thing here is the enemies PURPOSE to destroy!!!.We are told in the Bible (John 10:10 )of the three fold ministry of the devil who is referred as the thief, i.e to steal ,kill and destroy. But I like the scripture(Psalms 34:19) which then says many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. As Christians we are not exempted from these challenges but because of our trust and hope in Christ victory is certain. The Bible also says in (Isiah 54:17) No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Weapons are formed but they are rendered powerless because you are rooted in Christ .What am I saying here?

Where is the present-day altar?

In the days of the Old Testament, an altar is any structure on which offerings or sacrifices are burnt, situated in the temples. It is a place of worship unto the Lord. Since the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, animals are no more being sacrificed on altars. However, at salvation, you become the temple of God, with the Holy Spirit dwelling in you (1 Corinthians 3:16-17), as such the present-day altar is built in your heart.

When everything seems stacked against us and all hope is lost, we begin to think that we are so utterly alone. We’ve tried everything we can think of and still we come up empty. It is precisely at times like these that we must prevail in prayer for great and mighty things.

Jeremiah was commanded to pray for great and mighty things from the confinement of prison. A rebellious king named Zedekiah attempted to stifle the prophet’s convicting pronouncements about the doom of Judah. This king would be the last before Babylon took the nation captive.

The LORD would command Jeremiah to pray and then back the command with His creative power (v. 2). Nothing is too hard for the LORD who made heaven and earth and everything that dwells therein. The LORD commands Jeremiah…

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

We must pray because God has the power to deliver what He promises!
