The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) is an umbrella body of over 500 member bodies consisting of Evangelical/Pentecostal Denominations, Churches, Ministries and Para- Church Organizations representing over 4 million Christians in Zimbabwe. Established in 1962, EFZ has since become a formidable grass roots based ecumenical body providing a platform for fellowship and joint ministry amongst evangelicals and other ecumenical bodies.

A historic milestone 63 years in the making!!!!
What a powerful way to conclude Women’s Month! Yesterday, the EFZ Annual General Meeting officially ratified our first-ever female General Secretary. For the first time in over six decades, the mantle of leadership passes to Clara Madzinga-Chiseko . This isn't just a change in leadership; it is a new chapter for our Secretariat and the Fellowship. Pastor Clara, we are beyond excited to see you steadily steer EFZ toward new heights. As you step into this role, we pray for an abundance of grace, strength, and divine wisdom to lead with courage. The future of EFZ looks brighter than ever. Congratulations on this well-deserved appointment!

Last Friday we held our commemorations. Over 150 women got together to celebrate the collective strength and power of . From our theological reflections, to the theme elaboration by Women, to the dynamic panel , to messages and the crowning key note from the of Womens Affairs, the message was clear – is no longer enough!!! We must move beyond awareness to by removing and addressing the structural inequalities that limit women’s progress!

We pray for God’s continued wisdom and grace as these leaders serve in this new era, building upon the legacy of the late Archbishop Professor Ezekiel H. Guti.
