π WALKING IN OVERFLOW π
π Matthew 25:1β13 β Keep Your Lamp Burning π₯
This weekβs teaching reminded us that overflow is not excess for display β it is provision for the journey.
π The wise virgins carried extra oil. They understood that preparation is not for the moment you are in, but for the moments you cannot yet see.
π Life happens. Delays come. Unexpected challenges arise. The difference between the wise and the foolish was not the lamp, but the reserve they carried.
π Overflow is Godβs provision beyond todayβs need. It is the extra oil, extra grace, extra strength, extra wisdom, and extra resource that sustains us when life takes an unexpected turn.
π We were reminded that many people burn out because they only carry enough for the present moment. God desires that we live with spiritual reserves, not empty tanks.
π The example was given of a journey disrupted by a vehicle breakdown. The extra resources that had been carried made it possible to continue the journey. In the same way, God provides overflow so that setbacks do not become stopping points.
π Overflow is not only financial. We need overflow in prayer, in the Word, in faith, in strength, in relationships, and in our walk with God.
π The foolish virgins could not borrow oil at midnight. Some preparations cannot be made in a crisis. They must be made beforehand.
π We were encouraged to keep our lamps burning and continually seek fresh oil from the Lord so that our light does not grow dim.
π The service closed with prayer for fresh oil β that God would replenish weary hearts, strengthen those who feel depleted, and provide the grace needed for the road ahead.
π₯ May our lamps never run dry. May we carry enough oil not only for today, but for every delay, challenge, and assignment ahead. May God continually fill us with fresh oil as we walk in overflow. π₯
