đź“–II Kings 13:15-19 NKJV
And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the LORD’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”

and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith, that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain.
đź“–Psalm 43:3 NKJV
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.
đź“–Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

Stretching always precedes expansion, and capacity comes before increase.
Reflection🪞
Stretching is never comfortable, Joash was being stretched, yet he refused to be stretched to capacity. God stretches those He intends to use, and in this season we will feel ourselves being pulled into uncomfortable spaces–because God is enlarging our territory, authority, and spiritual bandwidth. Where people refuse stretching, they will resist their calling. Where they embrace it, they will inherit new ground. The LORD’s arrow has given us deliverance, and we are being stretched for the ultimate and complete victory over the enemy. We have to strike the ground as instructed at least five to six times and not stop or limit God at three times as He wants to bring greater victory through our hands.
Prayer🙌
LORD, we allow You to stretch us in the stretching that is occurring in every area of our lives, we will not limit You. Stretch us in our prayer life, our faith assignments, our financial stewardship, our leadership responsibilities, the grace for our relationships, our emotional maturity, and our spiritual hunger. May we not allow ourselves to be shaken, rather be strengthened by faith in tribulations and stretching; as we give attention to Your Words; inclining our ear to Your sayings. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.
