‘Do not put your trust in princes,nor in a son of man,in whom there is no help,’Psalms 146 :3.
Some say money solves all problems but l haven’t seen it healing people of diseases,bring people from the dead,etc.People kill for money,sell out their loved ones for money or sell their bodies for money,as some say use what you have to get what you want.My point is people can do anything to get money in the belief that i twill automatically solve all their problems but some in trying to do so create more problems than solutions.l have no problem with money but there are means of getting that l’m against.We have learnt to depend on the grace of other people,the so-called high and mighty of this world,the rich and powerful to be precise,to get by in life.Money is not really a problem,it is a means to an end but us we tend to get carried away ,obsess,get out of hand when it comes to it.My point is leading us into this, ‘where does our help really come from ?Where does our means of survival ?’I would like to quote King David in one of his Psalms,Psalms 121 :1-2, ‘L will lift up my eyes to the hills,from whence comes my help ?My help comes from the Lord,who made heaven and earth.’Let us not depend entirely on man because he can let us down.It also says in Psalms 118 :8,’It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.Let us take God to be our help,confidence,strength,rock,refuge.We will not always have our way in life,let us allow God to guide us the right way to do things.All we will ever need in life comes from Him.He says in His Word,’Seek yee first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.’The verses before this one mention that we need not to anxious about tomorrow because our God knows all about what we need.That is what is meant when it is said ,’all these things will be added unto you.’If you consult God before doing things,He will show you the right way to do it.
