It might be difficult to buy that after a long marathon Mr Alfred Zamkosini ceased to become the Bishop of the church, following a resignation missive putforth by him at a feast like this one, Pentecost, in 2015 on the 12nd of June. The resignation followed reasons among others that he has grown old and incapacitated and took his supreme powers to appoint, proclaim and ordain Mr Zacharia Caleb Gemu to his position after an agreed consencors with the Supreme Board of the church, The General Board.
It however did not go well with one, Mr Raphel Chirumbwa AKA Mr Bocha who went on to mobilise people, as well as convincing Mr Zamkosini to reverse his gesture, to go against the so to say noble idea of appointing, proclaiming and ordaining Mr Gemu by drafting false allegations against the so ordained Bishop. It however forced Mr Gemu to seek justice from Apostolic Council Of Churches in Zimbabwe which advised the church to readmit Mr Zamkosin but not as the Bishop insted, after having ammended the constitution, the ArchBishop, for all the allegations levelled against Mr Gemu were not fully evidented and so were dismissed. Mr Bocha and his company went on to resist to ammend the constitution for they were plotting to expell Mr Gemu from the church and it did not go that way. Now, the story is awaiting Judgement from the High Court. The last time it appeared Mr Zamkosini was clearly advised that he reisgned and should not be standing any church authority whilst Mr Gemu's application could not be authenticated for it only had one signatory.
Whilst the battle is still burning, a lot of things, mishaps, have been happening and are still happening. We had an episode of congregates bashed at the Church HQ, the Bishop denied entry to the church, Mr Bocha wanting to stab Mr Ncube, Mr Makanda harrassed, Mr Gemu's sympathisers chased out of the church's proximity, the Bishop's quarterz demolished, the bishop's son kidnapped, Mr Alfandika pushing Mr Gemu at the Court,,,,
It all spell to say Mr Zamkosini with the influence of Mr Bocha, Mr Gavheta and Mr Njanji have started a new thing which is not Bethlehem Apostolic Church yet to be given a name but their aguement is on church properties. They have already sorted their posts seing Mr Bocha aspiring for the Bishophood whilst elements like George Saizi have already been ordained to be the Church Hosting District Elder (Harare District Elder) for him to acquire experience so that he would be seen in to the General Board of the new project.
