On January 25 2019 Pastor W***y was called to Glory and it was then we as the family truly saw the

extent of his ministry and could only stand in awe of what God had done in the Heart and life of our Father and Husband. after a visit to a few churches Loretta and Julien (Pastor W***y's eldest) decided to continue with the ministry

*Theme: Remember Your God*

*Scripture Verse:*
Deuteronomy 8:7-11,17-19
[7]For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;
[8]A land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey;
[9]A land in which you shall eat food without shortage and lack nothing in it; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.
[10]When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for all the good land which He has given you.
[11]Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His precepts, and His statutes which I command you today,
[17]And beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.
[18]But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
[19]And if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

*Reflection:*
It's such a good thing to be blessed of God. It is so easy for us to ask for the whole world. I remember praying and ask God not to give me too much money because surely I would forget him. Deuteronomy is telling the Israelites not to forget who God is and it is God who blesses in material things but moreso power to gain wealth. The abilities we all possess are God given and we are to use them for the extension of our Fathers Kingdom. We are to give thanks in everything we do. We are not only to remember God in the Bad times but moreso in the good things. I am guilty of this, I have been blessed but so often forget to be grateful, just like a spoilt child. Brethren in Christ Let us remember our God.

Prayer point. Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for your blessings that you bestow upon us. We ask you never to leave our side, Grant us your peace and strength as we walk with you in Jesus Name I pray. Amen

*Theme: Keep Your Promises*

*Scripture Verse:*
Judges 11:31-35
[31]Then whatever or whoever comes forth from the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from the Ammonites, it shall be the Lord's, and I will offer it or him up as a burnt offering.
[32]Then Jephthah crossed over to the Ammonites to fight with them, and the Lord gave them into his hand.
[33]And from Aroer to Minnith he smote them, twenty cities, and as far as Abel-cheramim [the meadow of vineyards], with a very great slaughter. So the Ammonites were subdued before the Israelites.
[34]Then Jephthah came to Mizpah to his home, and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances! And she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
[35]And when he saw her, he rent his clothes and said, Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are the cause of great trouble to me; for I have opened my mouth [in a vow] to the Lord, and I cannot take it back.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Reflection:*
So often we are quick to say things and make promises to God, we say if you do this I will in turn do this for you and we do not realise we are making a covenant with God. In this case we bring ourselves to sin against Him as we more often than not never live up to our part.

Matthew 5:37
[37]Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the evil one. [Lev. 19:12; Num. 30:2; Deut. 23:21.]
In the Matthew Jesus is simply saying let our yes be yes and our No be a No, do not add a promise to it and if you do live up to it. It is better for God to show his favour upon you, than to quickly make a promise you can not keep. If you keep your word to God and remain faithful to Him his blessings will never come like a stream but rather like a flood as he rewards you for faithfu

In Light of these very trying times, with churches having to opt for an online audience rather than our more traditional services. It is really important for us to come to ourselves, just as the prodigal son did in the bible. Coming to ourselves is simply reflecting Gods love at a broken world, a world shaken to its very core and for us to realise we are truly in the last days needing God's mercy. Repent (turn away from sin) then draw near to God. I future and life as we know it has been changed. For me I live to worship God, to fulfill God's will for my life. Join me on this exciting journey.

January 25 2019 a day that changed my life. I lost my Friend, My Father, My Spiritual Dad and mentor. Shattered as one can only be I changed and realised the Man whom Founded the Vision and the Church Jacobs Well Ministries had passed on. Now what? Where do we go from here Lord I asked and the answer came..." Son its time to step up or ship out" decision... Lord I will step up. We haven't grown in numbers in the fellowship but spiritually we are moving and as a son I refuse to let my Father's vision die, I will stand and minister God's word undiluted for as long as he will use me. Praise God for his call on my Life. Join us this and every Sunday @ 10am for time of refreshing has arrived 16 Bardia Road Arcadia, Harare 0773339678 call/whatsapp
