She will be buried today at Glen Forest Memorial Park

Gladys Machemedze (née Chichetu)
1950 - 2025

Born on 10 February 1950 to the late Guru and Annie Chichetu Gladys was the fourth born in a family of eight. She trained as a dental assistant at Nyadire mission and worked for 35 years mainly at Parirenyatwa Hospital. She helped many people to receive treatment and know about dental hygiene. Gladys Machemedze was one of the pioneering members which attended Mabasa eVapostori United Methodist Church from the time when it was a circuit of Kambuzuma United Methodist Church before they migrated pagomo and began their own service under a tree. She gave service to the church in various capacities but mainly in the health committee where they used to organise the oral health week with other colleagues like Mrs Mtetah and Mrs Kadirire.

A part of Ruwadzano, Gogo Gladys Machemedze was a loving, and caring woman who will be remembered for giving without hesitation to those in need.

She died on 6 October 2025 at Westend Hospital after a long illness and will be laid to rest at Farm 1048, Hampshire, Chivhu on 8 October 2025.

She is survived by two children, Masimba Musuhunje and Tapiwa Machemedze and six grandchildren Makanaka, Tendekai, Tinaye, Rujeko, Kundiso and Inyasha who loved her dearly.

May her soul rest in eternal peace

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of Mrs Dorcas Mukopfa on Saturday 30 August 2025.
She was a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend not only to her family, but to many people. She was an educationist and worked in the field for almost 4decades of her life, changing people's lives for the best
Mbuya Mukopfa worked in almost all committees at Warren Park UMC Circuit. As Warren Park UMC tarasikirwa negamba remunamato. She was an illustrious, dedicated and passionate member of the Church. Go well mom, our RRW Advisor. You will be dearly missed💔💔💔
