Yes the Gloria is Sung - On solemnities and feast days that fall within Advent, such as the Immaculate Conception (December or the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12), the Gloria is sung or recited.
This is because these celebrations are joyful and take precedence over the penitential character of Advent.
