Elder Takaruva: Revelation 3:2-5 KJV

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
[3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief,
and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
[4] Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
[5] He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father,
and before his angels.

Greetings brethren, I would want to share a little bit with you on the above scripture.

Be watchful-simply means to be vigilant, observant.
So our Lord Jesus is encouraging us to be vigilant or observant esp these end times bcoz our enemy the devil is seeking whom to devour.
In other versions it says, 'wake up, strengthen what remains'
God has deposited in us His Word which strengthens or build us up to be mature in His things.
So let us be strong in His Word and let it not die, even in trying times like we are going thru.
Jesus the author and perfector of our faith akavheneka akaona kusakwana kwedu.
Zvino nekuda kwerudo rwake anoti rangarira zvawakagamuchira nekunzwa. Izvozvo zvibatisise wotendeuka. Ukasaita saizvozvo Ishe vachauya sembavha wotadza kuziva nguva yavanouya.

Saka zvoreva kuti kuuya kwaJesu kuchasvikira vamwe vachiziva musi vamwe vari murima.
Those who are in continual renewal of their minds by the Holy spirit are in light and will not be caught unawares by His coming.
Good day brethren.

We may not have much food and necessities at home but that shouldn't put off your joy and family unity, stay in the word and your prayer life will be exciting.
This is where we APPLY the Word of God.

Matthew 6:25 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;
nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Lets keep encouraging each other by sharing the word and your spiritual experiences even dreams on this platform.
This will keep our spirits together as family even as we are locked away in our physical bodies.

Pastor Mudzani's Desk:

John 11:23-26 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

From the scripture I jus posted ,if you read carefully with understanding you will notice 2 two things revealed by our Lord Jesus to Martha after the death of Lazarus
Verses 25& 26,those who believe in Jesus and then die will resurrect verse25. Many Christians do believe this without any shadow of doubt.
Talk of the resurrection of the dead you will notice it has become the hope of every believer yet there is a parrarrel truth about those who are living and believe,
Jesus said such will never die,When our Lord commissioned his disciples to go preach he said ,You shall eat poison and not die,
be beaten by snakes and scorpions but still won't succumb to death.Has this become a reality in our lives or it sounds fictious.
The Bible has it that on the island of Melita the apostle Paul was beaten by a known poisoneous adder and everyone expected him to die within minutes but alas because of the word he had
believed ,the apostle survived the biteMartha I'm the resurrection and the dead ,whoever believeth in me even if he dies yet shall he rise again and who soever liveth and believes will
never die ,Martha do you believe this?

Jesus knew that he had said a truth which will not settle so easily in Martha and he asked her ,Martha do you believe in everlasting life without dying in as much you believe in
resurrection of the deadLaddies and gentlemen ,beloved Christians we are faced with this pandemic and I believe those who will believe in life will not succumb to Corona virus
The power of the virus thrives on fear than on anything else.
The apostle Paul says to Timothy ,life and immortality has bin brought to light through e goes and I jus wonder as to
when preachers will start preaching about e life brought by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Christ came to redeem those who were captives throughout their lives through the fear of death ,for death was regning on everyone from Adam to Moses but from then Christ came that
we may have Life and life in abundanceIt's sad that many Christians were made to believe that Christ brought a better death yet death is death and the apostle Paul in 1cor 15
calls it an enemy that still has to be defeatedJesus said to Martha "Do you believe ?"
Yes Do you believe this
?In the garden of Eden were 2 important trees ,
1) of e knowledge of good and evil
2)the tree of life

Adam and Eve ate of e tree of the knowledge of good and evil but left e tree that was going to give them life and not dieGod then chased them out of the garden and did put cherubins
on each road that led to the tree of lifeThis tree of life represented Christ JesusLest they eat of the tree of life and live for ever let's ensure it's guarded ,God said .Brethren
let's receive the Lord and savior let's eat of the him e tree of life and live Corona will just fall off,If you believe you will not see death, Belverdere Assembly do you believe this?????
