Jesus Christ showed us to always pray to our Father in Heaven. His final words to God remind us of the power of prayer:

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” —Luke 23:34

“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” —Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34

“Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.” —Luke 23:46

In the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed not just for Himself but for all humanity—His followers, those who persecuted Him, and each of us, including you.

We can follow His example today by reaching out to God in prayer. Whether you're facing hard times or want to support those around you who are struggling, prayer is a powerful tool given to us from God 🙏🙏

Alma 34: 26-27
26. But this is not all; ye must pour out your souls in your closets, and your secret places, and in your wilderness.

27. Yea, and when you do not cry unto the Lord, let your hearts be full, drawn out in prayer unto him continually for your welfare, and also for the welfare of those who are around you.

We should pray to Heavenly Father not only in times of trouble, but in times of success. Give gratitude to God and he will bless us even more!
