BRAESIDE CITADEL JUNIOR SOLDIERS

Child Protection & Children's Week Commemoration
The Braeside Citadel Junior Soldiers met in the church hall on Tuesday, 1 September to commemorate Child Protection and Children's Week.

Theme: HOME: THE SAFE SPACE
This theme was chosen in response to the many dangers children face in today’s world.Children need someone they can trust and confide in. Home should be that safe place. However, when home does not feel safe, children tend to keep things to themselves, or seek counsel from the wrong sources. This can place them in even greater danger.Through this theme, we seek to encourage parents and guardians to build strong, loving bonds with their children.

Our prayer is that every child feels comfortable to approach their parents or guardians with anything — whether happy or sad. As parents and guardians, may our children know that we are always ready and willing to listen.May our children never fear us.

"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him." — Luke 15:20

“Teacher, don’t You care if we drown?” — Mark 4:38

A powerful reminder from Sunday’s sermon: even when the storm is raging and it feels like God is silent, Jesus is still in the boat.

Don’t let the storm make you forget who is with you. Keep your faith, trust His presence, and know that the storm has an end.

Off to the Junior Soldiers Rally

Yesterday, our Junior Soldiers set off for an exciting and faith-filled Junior Soldiers Rally at Chabwino Secondary School

As they journeyed together, they carried with them the joy of fellowship, the courage of young soldiers, and a heart ready to learn, grow, worship and serve God.

May this rally be a time of faith, friendship, fun and spiritual growth, creating memories that will inspire them to continue shining for Christ wherever they go.

DEDICATION AND RECRUITMENT SUNDAY | A NEW GENERATION, A NEW COMMITMENT

“Let the little children come to Me…” — Matthew 19:14

This Sunday, we celebrated the dedication of our precious babies, entrusting them into God’s loving hands and committing to nurture them in His ways.

We also welcomed and recruited our new Senior Soldiers, answering the call to serve and work faithfully for the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23

From the dedication of little lives to the dedication of hearts to God’s service, it was truly a Sunday of commitment, faith and new beginnings.

Let the children grow in Christ, and let those who serve Him serve with all their hearts.
