God Is Looking For You
1 Samuel 13:14
The Lord has sought out for Himself a man (David) after His own heart, and the
Lord has appointed him as leader and ruler over His people.
God is desperate to find people. Whenever He wants to change a situation in the Earth, He looks for someone who will step up to the plate.
He is seeking worshipers who will worship in spirit and truth, intercessors to stand in the gap, leaders to shepherd God’s people and believers who will stand up and be counted for Him.
I recently heard a certain Preacher saying, “God has inextricably tied Himself to human cooperation in the ex*****on of His divine will.”
The fact that God is seeking means that there are not many to be found. Not many pray, not many worship, and not many will make time to prioritize the Kingdom of God , but God is on the search and when He finds someone He will anoint them to take care of His business.
Do you feel that you have heard His call today? If so it is time to follow through by doing everything you can to make His calling and election sure according to [2 Peter 1:10].
If we are instructed to make our calling sure, that means that it can be unsure, unconfirmed and hanging in the balance. If that is the case we will be ineffective and unproductive.
If people look at our lives, will they see evidence of the calling that we say we have? A calling is not just a title, it is demonstration brought about by divine enabling.
If you say you are called to be a Pastor, are you “Pastoring”? If you say you will be one of the worshipers that God is looking for, are you giving your whole self in worship, or are you letting the praise team do the job while you watch?
Real success is not so much about externals, it is an inside job . Being the real deal is more important to your effectiveness than looking the part but having no substance. Committing to being and doing what God wants is the best and most powerful decision you can ever make.
