Reflection: The True Mission of the Holy Spirit
While many churches and ministries are named after their founders or charismatic leaders, Rev. Sun Myung Moon chose a very different path.

He named his ministry:

“The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity.”

This wasn't just a name it was a divine mission statement.

It reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not a spirit of division, denomination, or ego.

The Holy Spirit is a unifying force, working beyond borders, doctrines, and personal empires.

In a time when Christianity is fragmented into countless denominations, Rev. Moon's vision boldly declared:

Let the Holy Spirit unite what man has divided.

May we return to this original calling not to build our names, but to build unity in Christ.

I have devoted my entire life to serving our Heavenly Parent and working toward the realization of one human family living in peace.
I have never sought power through money.
As the leader of the Family Federation, I sincerely apologize for the unintended controversies and concerns that have arisen in many respects.
Throughout my life, I have traveled the world proclaiming that, if we are to realize a world of peace through the True Family Movement, humanity must attend and serve our Heavenly Parent.
Yet it deeply pains my heart that the person in whom I placed my trust and entrusted everything has brought about the situation we face today.
Even now, wars and conflicts continue to shed blood across the world. My appeal has always been this: Let us attend our Heavenly Parent. Let all nations that attend our Heavenly Parent become brotherly nations, welcoming our Heavenly Parent on earth, and unite to fulfill the dream of our Heavenly Parent—a Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
I believe that Heaven is living. Heaven will surely fulfill its dream on earth.
The second and third generations of the Unification family are now moving forward into the world as true sons and daughters who attend our Heavenly Parent, carrying on this mission.
In this year, 2025, centered on Heaven, I have established the foundation upon which the Creator, our Heavenly Parent, can realize His dream on earth.
For this, I am deeply grateful and thankful. Now that the roots have been planted, only growth and prosperity remain.
I firmly believe that the long-awaited world of one human family in peace, centered on our Heavenly Parent, will surely be realized.
Until the end of my life, wherever I may be, I will continue to advance toward that goal.
I pray that this nation, blessed by our Heavenly Parent—a chosen nation like the Second Israel—

The mass wedding centering on our Unification Church is not just limited to our own church's marriage ceremony. It is the formula through which the whole of humankind will move. We must know this clearly. Then, what is the fundamental reason for receiving the Blessing? It is because our ancestors were fallen. If the human ancestors had not fallen, this work of the Blessing would not be happening. But because of the fall, there is the course of restoration remaining in order to go back to God's sovereignty, and we must climb this way. This explains the purpose for religion and the goal of history.
Ultimately, what is the final purpose? It is to have the true family. This is the ultimate purpose for fallen humankind to discover. In order to establish the true family, true people must come. Among the true people, true man must appear first. By doing that, the true man finds the true woman and they have the holy wedding centering on God, and finally the true family is started.
Due to the human fall, humankind was unable to have that origin. Therefore we must deny all the families which existed until today, according to God's providential will centering on the family foundation, and we must go over the existing family standard. If someone cannot go over this standard, the fallen world cannot return to the original world. This is the principled interpretation. Fallen man and woman, no matter who they might be, cannot stand in front of God without going through this conditional formula. We must understand this.

Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (formerly known as the Unification Church), has been recognized by various organizations and world leaders for her lifelong dedication to peace-building, interreligious cooperation, and strengthening families.

While nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize are confidential, she has been recommended by various figures and honored with numerous international awards for her humanitarian work and contributions to world peace. Her nomination and recognition are centered on the following accomplishments:
● Promoting Peace Through Family Values: Dr. Han, along with her late husband, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, pioneered the Marriage Blessing movement, which seeks to transcend racial and national barriers by creating intercultural families, framing the "true family" as the foundation of a peaceful world.

● Interfaith Dialogue and Cooperation: She founded the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP) in 1992 and the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) in 2017. Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Submitted for Dr. Hak Ja Han

Dr. Jan Figel, former EU Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, has formally nominated Dr. Hak Ja Han of the Family Federation (FFWPU) for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

In his nomination letter, Figel cited the following achievements:

1. Interfaith cooperation: Appointed thousands of Peace Ambassadors worldwide to bridge religious divides

2. Korean Peninsula peace: Organized Rally of Hope summits promoting peaceful reunification

3. Humanitarian recognition: Established the Sunhak Peace Prize, honoring global peace advocates

4. UN engagement: UPF and WFWP hold comprehensive consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
