*Inspiration*

Child dedication: we are simply making a commitment before the Lord and our church family to raise our child(ren) up in Godliness *(Proverbs 22:6).* As parents we have to recognise that our children are not our own but belong to the Lord.

*Prayer*
Thank you my father, my Lord and my God for the gift of these little ones. I pray for wisdom and knowledge to understand that these children are not my own but belong to you. Let the holy spirit lead me not to hinder them coming to you my Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray and amen.

Morning verse
Psalm 10:14

Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

*Inspiration*

Jesus is our proof that God has not forsaken us, but rather wished to save all those who sought to escape from their sins. In this way, we may understand that God cared enough to send His own Son, to see Him tortured and ridiculed, to see Him avenged not by blood, but the miracle of His ascension in front of all those who doubted. Rest assured then, God loves us, God is on the side of all those who commit to His name. He forgives! He saves!

*Morning prayer*
Lord above, Creator of the Heaven and the earth, hallowed be Your name! For You repay the wicked and defend the poor, the oppressed, the weak and the injured. For this, we praise Your name in upholding final justice for all men, and we rejoice again for sending down Your only Son so that we may hear the good news in Him. Amen.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 -- {ML 41.1}

God has been pleased to communicate His truth to the world by human agencies, and He Himself, by His Holy Spirit, qualified men and enabled them to do this work. He guided the mind in the selection of what to speak and what to write. The treasure was entrusted to earthen vessels, yet it is, nonetheless, from Heaven. The testimony is conveyed through the imperfect expression of human language, yet it is the testimony of God; and the obedient, believing child of God beholds in it the glory of a divine power, full of grace and truth. -- {ML 41.2}

In His Word God has committed to men the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are to be accepted as an authoritative, infallible revelation of His will.... -- {ML 41.3}

As presented through different individuals, the truth is brought out in its varied aspects. One writer is more strongly impressed with one phase of the subject; he grasps those points that harmonize with his experience or with his power of perception and appreciation; another seizes upon a different phase; and each, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, presents what is most forcibly impressed upon his own mind--a different aspect of the truth in each, but a perfect harmony through all. And the truths thus revealed unite to form a perfect whole, adapted to meet the wants of men in all the circumstances and experiences of life.... -- {ML 41.4}

Yet the fact that God has revealed His will to men through His Word has not rendered needless the continued presence and guiding of the Holy Spirit. On the contrary, the Spirit was promised by our Saviour, to open the Word to His servants, to illuminate and apply its teachings. And since it was the Spirit of God that inspired the Bible, it is impossible that the teaching of the Spirit should ever be contrary to that of the Word. -- {ML 41.5}

God's Plan and Our Place in It.
Ephesians 1:1-14.

God has a plan is our place in His plan :
Eph. 1:3-6, We are chosen by God.
John 15:16 "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you." What motivating inspiration to know oneself as chosen by God.

Eph. 1:7-12
We are redeemed by Christ. Because He forgave us, He redeemed us. Bind us to Himself and to each other, bringing unity to whole universe.

Eph. 1:13-14
We are sealed with the Spirit.
The Spirit reveals God to us. It makes effective in us, the power of Christ's sacrifice.
The Holy Spirit is not an option, but an essential reality in the Christian experience.

"May the Holy Spirit be poured upon us today. To make us know more of God the Father and Jesus our Redeemer.
That we may be sealed forever in Him. " Amen.

NLT Bible. Psalms 31:8
[8]You have not handed me over to my enemies
but have set me in a safe place."

As approach the end of 2020, we are encouraged to look back at the journey we travelled and look forward at the distance ahead.
It can only be God's grace that has taken us this far.
I cannot see us On our own escaping the deadly trapes of 2020.
As David says, God has not allowed our enemies to touch us......touch our souls.

Your Prayer.
"O Lord I believe and declare that I shall not fall into the hands of my enemies. I ask you Lord to set my feet on Your holy ground. I declare that with You, I will move into abundance and favour. Please help me, my family and loved ones to remain focused on YOU. Amen.

My Prayer.
May the Lord preserve you and protect you from the hands of the enemy. The favour of God will place you into a spacious and healthy area of your life.
May you rest in the truth that God will not hand you over to your enemies, but place you into the spacious place. Stand still and see the goodness of the Lord.

My mother graduated in 1965 &
got a teaching job at a Government
College

The teachers were given car loans
& she bought a brand new Opel
Kadett.

They were to pay back the loan
over 4 years.

However, one of the teachers took
half of the money the others took
as loan...
Bought a fairly used car & got a driver.

So, when other teachers would drive to
school & park their brand new cars, his
driver would drop him off in the
morning & come and pick him at knocking off time.

My mum said they laughed at him,
calling him "Acting Big Man" because
he got a driver...
But he'd just smile.
One day, one of the teachers had cause
to go out of the school during school
hours. He returned to report that he
saw his colleague's driver using his car
as *taxi*

When they "reported" his driver to
him, he said he was aware that was
why he hired a driver...

Why park a car for 6-8 hours, when it
can be making money for you?
The other teachers were stunned:
suddenly, he didn't look as stupid as
they thought!
Now, because of the extra income from
using his car as a taxi, he was able to
pay back the loan in a year...

By the 2nd year, he bought a 2nd car to
add to his taxi fleet.
By the 3rd year, he bought 2 more
taxis!

By the 4th year when my mum & others
finished paying their loans, this guy had 6 taxis.

Then he bought a brand new Opel
Kadett, the newer model!
Other cars were 4 years old...
My mum said, that was the moment
they realised who was smart & who was
foolish among them all.

This happened 1965-1970.
I was born 1968, in the midst of all this.

I was told that story in 1979 when I
entered secondary school

It has remained in my brains since then...

Today, I see too many young folks more
interested in *spending* their money instead of *investing* it they
don't have to buy the things they don't
need to impress people who don't like
them.

Too many people living fake lives in
these days of social media.

The fake generation buy fake hair, fake nails , list is long -
