Hie friends and followers of my page.

I have a good question.

What really defines the other between gold and the gold colour?
Is it the colour that came first and gave gold the name.

What do you think?

Ellen was a prophet despite her disclaimer.

"I do not claim to be a
prophetess."
Why does the Seventh-day
Adventist church believe that
Ellen G. White received the gift
of prophecy when she said that
she did not claim to be a
prophetess? The misuse often
made of this Ellen White
statement is an illustration of
the importance of proper context.
Here, in her own words, is what
Ellen White did and did not
mean by her statement:
"Some have stumbled over the
fact that I said I did not claim to
be a prophet; and they have
asked, Why is this?
"I have had no claims to make,
only that I am instructed that I
am the Lord's messenger; that
He called me in my youth to be
His messenger, to receive His
word, and to give a clear and
decided message in the name of
the Lord Jesus.
"Early in my youth I was asked
several times, Are you a prophet?
I have ever responded, I am the
Lord's messenger. I know that
many have called me a prophet,
but I have made no claim to this
title. My Saviour declared me to
be His messenger. 'Your work,' He
instructed me, 'is to bear My
word. Strange things will arise,
and in your youth I set you apart
to bear the message to the erring
ones, to carry the word before
unbelievers, and with pen and
voice to reprove from the Word
actions that are not right. Exhort
from the Word. I will make My
Word open to you. It shall not
be as a strange language. In the
true eloquence of simplicity, with
voice and pen, the messages that
I give shall be heard from one
who has never learned in the
schools. My Spirit and My power
shall be with you.' . . .
"Why have I not claimed to be a
prophet?--Because in these days
many who boldly claim that they
are prophets are a reproach to
the cause of Christ; and because
my work includes much more
than the word 'prophet' signifies. . .
"To claim to be a prophetess is
something that I have never
done. If others call me by that
name, I have no controversy with
them. But my work has covered
so many lines that I cannot call
myself other

THE SABBATH.

Bible study containing
questions on the Sabbath with
the answers being direct Bible
quotes.
Lord, I have been thinking
about the Sabbath. Some
people keep it; some say it
isn’t important. Should I be
concerned about it?
"One man esteemeth one day
above another : Another
esteemeth every day alike. Let
every man be fully persuaded
in his own mind" (Romans 14:5)
Then tell me about the
Sabbath. Is every day alike or
do you have a special day of
rest for Your followers?
"I was in the Spirit on THE
LORD’S DAY: (Revelation 1:10)
But which day is the Lord’s
day? Which day should be
esteemed above the others?
"The son of Man is Lord even of
the Sabbath day" (Matthew
12:8)
There are seven days in the
week. Which day is the
Sabbath day?
"The SEVENTH DAY is the
Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in
it thou shalt not do any
work." (Exodus 20:10)
Which day, according to our
reckoning is the seventh day –
Saturday or Sunday?
"And when the Sabbath was
past, Mary Magdalene, and
Mary the mother of James ...
very early in the morning the
first day of the week ... came
unto the sepulchre at the
rising of the sun ... and
entering into the sepulchre,
they saw a young man ... and
hesaith unto them, Be not
affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of
Nazareth, which was crucified:
He is risen" (Mark 16:1-6)
(Note: everybody knows that
Sunday was the resurrection
day. The Sabbath was past
when it dawned. Thus it is
evident that the Sabbath is
Saturday, the day before
Sunday.)
Do You mean, Lord, that the
seventh day, Saturday, is a
special day of rest above all the
other days of the week?
"God BLESSED the seventh day,
and SANCTIFIED it: because
that in it he had rested from
all his work which God created
and made." (Genesis 2:3)
How do You expect us to keep
this day You have blessed and
sanctified?
"Remember the Sabbath day to
KEEP IT HOLY. Six days shalt
thou labour, and do all thy
work: but the seventh day is
the Sabbath of the Lord thy
God: in it thou shalt not do
any work." (Fourth
Commandment

The Messianic
Time Table
According to
Daniel the
Prophet

Daniel and the timing
of Messiah
More than any other book of the
Hebrew Scriptures , the writings of
the prophet Daniel confront us
with evidence of the time of
Messiah's coming—evidence that
many people would rather not see
But it is there and cannot be
ignored.
“It is Daniel's
detailed
accuracy in
his prophecies
that has
caused many
critics to try
to give a late
date to the
book
of Daniel.”

That Daniel was indeed a prophet
is well substantiated. He accuratel
prophesied the rise of the Medo-
Persian, Greek and Roman empires
even at a time when the
Babylonian Empire, which precede
them all, was at its height. He
accurately predicted the fortunes,
conflicts, wars and conspiracies of
the two kingdoms of Syria and
Egypt between the fracturing of th
Greek Empire and the conquest by
Rome. He prophesied the role of
the Maccabees during this period.
It is Daniel's detailed accuracy in
his prophecies that has caused
many critics to try to give a late
date to the book of Daniel,
although no evidence has been
discovered that would negate the
book's composition at the time th
it claims to have been written. At
the very latest, the book was
completed around 530 B.C.E.
The purpose of this article is to
discuss in some detail verses 24-2
of Daniel nine. However, it will be
wise to survey the entire chapter i
order to see what engendered the
prophecy of when Messiah would
come.

"Ye shall know the truth and
the truth shall set you free."
What is this truth which sets
men free? Can it be found
within the walls of a
denomination?
"And ye shall know the
truth and the truth
shall make you free."
John 8:32
When Jesus spoke these words,
the Jews replied immediately.
"We be Abraham's seed and
were never in bo***ge to any
man." These were strange
words coming from the Jews.
How could they say such a
thing? For four hundred and
thirty years they had been
slaves in Egypt. For seventy
years they had been captives in
Babylon and at that very
moment they were under the
dominion of the kingdom of
Rome. So why did the Jews
make such a boastful and
untrue statement?
The answer is to be found in
their words, "We be Abraham's
seed." In these-words we find
the very foundation of the
Jewish blindness. God had
promised to bless Abraham and
his seed forever, and the Jews
were absolutely convinced that
because of this promise they
would be a sacred people,
special and peculiar to God
forever. They did not realize
that this would only be true if
they remained faithful to God
and were obedient to His word.
They felt that they would never,
ever, under any circumstances
be cast off, or rejected by God,
no matter how disobedient and
unfaithful they were. So
blinded were they by this false
idea, that it led them to even
deny the fact that they were in
bo***ge at that very moment.
Therefore, the words of` Jesus,
"Ye shall know the truth,"
annoyed the Jews. Here He was,
suggesting that they did not
know the truth, yet they were
Abraham's seed! They were the
chosen people of God,
belonging to the true church,
and they could prove it. They
could trace the history of their
nation in an unbroken line,
right back to Abraham who had
been the friend of God. God
Himself had given them many,
many, promises that He would
never cast them off (Jeremiah
31:35-37).

UNMOVED

Truth never dies. The ages come and go, The mountains wear away, the seas retire; Destruction lays earth’s mighty cities low. The empire, states, and dynasties expire, But caught and handed onward by the wise, Truth never dies.

Though unreceived and scoffed at through the years; Though made the butt of ridicule and jest; Though held aloft for mockery and jeers Denied by those of transient power possessed; Insulted by the insolence of lies, Truth never dies.

Truth answers not, it does not take offence; But with a mighty silence bides its time, As some great cliff that braves the elements And lifts through all the storms its head sublime, So truth, unmoved, its puny foes defies, and NEVER dies!

Certain Christian.

There are Christians who do not aim the best in their lives, it so sad. It captured my thoughts when one day I wanted to to fetch clean water from the dam after irrigating my garden. I wanted clean to wash my legs, but because there was dirty on the edges of this water source, I had to go some steps further it water so that I can get this needed clean water and I did that, then I washed my feet with it. Imagine, if I felt bored to step more into the water, and if I took the easy, fetched but DIRTY water and I wash myself with it, what do you think was going to be the result? I'd be dirty still if not more than what I was before spreading this liquid on my skin.

In like manner, some Christian they don't step more into the deeper truths to be acquainted with the truth. They say "what else do we need? Its enough, we're OK." Then they enjoy the errors in which they in. SEARCH MORE, HOLD ON TO A SECURED TRUTH, NOT DENOMINATIONAL SECURITY, BUT THE TRUTH WHICH IS JESUS.
