The Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (AFMiZ) Sala Assembly held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its new mission house on 2 August 2026, marking an important milestone in the Assemblyโs development.
The occasion was graced by the Provincial leadership, led by the Provincial Non-Executive Chairman, Elder Mudhikwa, and the Provincial Secretary, Elder Kandiero. They were accompanied by Provincial Board members Pastor Chiruva, Elder Chimiti, Deacon Murindagomo, and Deacon Mawodzeka, who wore two hats on the dayโas both a Provincial Board member and an Assembly Board member.
The Provincial leadership was warmly hosted by the Sala Assembly under the leadership of its Board, comprising Pastor Mtemererwa, Elder Matiza (NEC), Elder Nhundu (Secretary), Deaconess Takaendesa (Treasurer), Elder Machaka, Deacon Mawodzeka, and retired Elder Kanodaweta.
The Assemblyโs Projects Department, led by Mr Moyo S, has been actively driving the mission house project from its conception. During the visit, the Provincial leadership had an opportunity to view the architectural plans for the proposed building, providing a glimpse of the vision that lies ahead.
A special word of blessing was spoken over the project by the Provincial leadership, committing the work into Godโs hands. As the foundation has now been laid, the Sala Assembly looks forward with faith and determination to seeing the project through to completion.
