WHO IS THIS GOD?

ELDER (MRS.) M. MUCHAIRI

SCRIPTURES BASED ON JUBILEE BIBLE 2000 BIBLE

ANCHOR SCRIPTURES

EXODUS 3:1-3

1. Now as Moses shepherded the sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, he led the flock to the backside of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burnt with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great vision, why the bush is not burnt.

EXODUS 33:11 & 13-23

11 And the LORD would speak unto Moses face to face, as anyone would speak unto their friend. And he would turn again into the camp, but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart out of the tabernacle.

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight; and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My presence {Heb. faces} shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And he said unto him, If thy presence {Heb. faces} is not to go before us, do not bring us out of here. 16 For in what shall it be known here that I have found grace in thy sight, I and thy people, but in that thou goest with us, and I and thy people will be separated from all the peoples that are upon the face of the earth? 17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken because thou hast found grace in my sight, and I have known thee by name. 18 Then he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. 19 And he replied, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name that I AM before thee; and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and will show clemency on whom I will show clemency. 20 He further said, Thou canst not see my face; for no man shall see me and live. 21 And the LORD continued saying, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon the rock; 22 and it shall come to pass while my glory passes by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock and will cover thee with my hand until I have passed by. 23 Then I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my back parts, but my face {Heb. faces} shall not be seen.

ISAIAH 45:18-23

18 For thus has the LORD said that creates the heavens; God himself that forms the earth, he who made it and established it. He did not create it in vain; he created it to be inhabited; I am the LORD; and there is no one else. 19 I have not spoken in secret in a dark place of the earth. Not without substance did I say unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me; I am the LORD who speaks righteousness, who declares things that are right. 20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, all ye that are escaped of the Gentiles. They have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image and pray unto the god that does not save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together; who caused this to be heard from the beginning and has declared it from that time, except me, the LORD? and there is no God beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is no one besides me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no one else. 23 I have sworn by myself; the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow; every tongue shall swear.

God is a Father who is looking for an intimate relationship with us. Now on Exodus 3 we see Moses looking after his father-in-law’s sheep. He went to Mount Horeb, (God’s Mountain). That is where he saw the burning bush. He was surprised. He sought to draw near. This means he left his route to see what was happening. God called him as he approached this spectacle. God is seeking us to come closer showing that we have interest. Coming closer means we leave whatever we are doing, our ways and concentrate on knowing what the Father wants from us.

Moses wanted to understand why the bush was burning without being consumed. God asked him to come closer. Moses responded to the call. It means Moses was a distance from the spectacle. God asked him to remove his shoes. God seeks to have every dirt removed before we approach Him. What was seen by Moses burning without consumption of the bush was the glory of God. God was showing He was holy and this was holy ground. We need to be clean for us to be closer to the Holy God and connect with Him. He doesn't connect with sinful people.

When Moses had removed his shoes God explained who He was in Moses’s life. This is God who is seeking a relationship with us. For this to happen you have to take a step and have a hunger to know Him. Today He is calling the saved to come closer so He can explain who He is. If you do not step closer God cannot explain Himself. He is calling us to a closer intimate relationship with Him. He is seeking to bond with us.

In Isaiah 45 God introduces Himself as the Creator of the heavens and earth. Beside Him there is no other. He speaks righteousness and declares right things into being. God explains He does not favour worship of idols. In several instances He explains there is no other God before Him. We are a chosen generation. To us He says He is the LORD God the true One who speaks right. Relationships are built as you walk together. Moses walked and talked with God after Horeb. By walking together they created a strong bond between them.

Moses requested to see the glory of God. There was such a relationship that Moses did not fear to see ask. Every person gets to a point where they ask what God looks like. Imagine in your brain how God looks like. This must be what was in the mind of Moses. God does not remain silent. He told Moses if he sees God's face he will die. But God did not deny him completely. He told Moses to stand at a strategic position where God was going to allow Moses to see only God's back. When you show an interest in wanting to know Him, He will not deny you. He will reveal to you a part of Him. According to Exodus 3 we can see that God looks like something. He is not just an invisible thing with a name and a voice.

When you desire, God gives instructions as He speaks, you responds and He tells you what to do. Moses stood where he was instructed to stand. He saw the backview of God. God showed His glory and stated His name. His godliness is not only in His form, it is more in His name and in His voice. We know Him through His voice and His name. So why does God remain invisible? God does it because His love is great and He is Love. In chapter 34 Moses went up the mountain for 40-days. He came back with a glory on his face. The people asked for him to wear a veil. He came down the mountain with part of the glory of God and they couldn't stand to look at Him. The glory was too much for them.

If God comes down Himself no one will survive. If people could not stand Moses’ glory what more that of God? The relationship between God and people is not like that of a father forcing himself to his children. So God want us to have a true relationship based on our love for Him not because we are afraid or because He forces Himself on us. He knows that when people have reverential fear without seeing Him they are more genuine that if He was visible with His glory burning like fire. God seeks an intimate relationship with people using our freewill without frightening us to love Him through fear.

God does not force Himself against us to remain in relationship with Him. 1 Corinthians 13:4 (NKJV), Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; As you hear His word preached, you are hearing the Father speaking. The more time you spend in His word or seeking Him the more glory He releases in your life. Even demons realize that when there is glory of God it is hot.

ROMANS 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father

God is our Saviour and Father. He is explaining Himself. That is why He is seeking a deeper relationship with us. You are familiar with your father’s voice, his character, his needs and what he doesn’t want. If you are in a good relationship with him you seek that he remains in the house. You desire to have him nearby. A child trusts their father. They know that he brings good things for them. Such a child asks for the father’s presence when they are not seeing them.

If we have a relationship with our father, if we call Him Abba Father we must search for Him in word and everything so that His presence does not fade from us. You must be worried when He is silent and you are not feeling His presence. You must be concerned with your relationship with Him. Seek to reestablish your relationship. He may have a period of silence for whatever reason. Search for Him to find out if your relationship is the same way you do for your earthly father. Spend time with your Father. You will see His glory and His power will work in you.

Jesus Christ says His branches draw energy from the Father. The God of heaven wants a closer intimate relationship with Him. Seek Him in the many ways you can search for Him. He will show Himself so powerfully. There is a time when He will show Himself and every knees and nation will bow down. Satanists, magodobori, manjuzi, everyone who is denting Him, that moment they will have no choice than to bow down and worship Him. That time there is no salvation or seeking to build a relationship with Him. This is the time and hour to seek a relationship with Him. That time He will show Himself full for everyone to see Him. That time there will be no conversion. It is good to seek a relationship with Him now.

CAST YOUR BURDEN UNTO GOD

PASTOR P. NYARUNI

SCRIPTURES BASED ON NEW LIVING TRANSLATION

ANCHOR SCRIPTURES

1 SAMUEL 1:1-20

2026 we are knowing, connecting and aligning with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. To do this you have to know the power of God. Elkanah had two wives. He favoured Hannah by giving her twice as much for sacrifices. Hannah was being persistently harassed by Peninah. Hannah was barren. Peninnah had children. Hannah was troubled in her spirit. If you are desirous for something, great things will happen if you pray.Penninah’s harassment was a constant thorn in Hannah’s flesh. She knew where to take her troubles.

If you know there is God, you cry unto Him. One day Eli the priest saw her praying without words coming out. He thought she was drunk already. She replied that she was full of desire. Imagine it was you being accused of drunkeness when you were hurt for being barren. When someone pours out their heart, they will have laid bare everything bothering them. Cast your burdens upon the LORD. Prayer is individual. You do not stand with someone. You pour out your heart to God through connecting and aligning with Him.

Hannah did not talk about her woes with other people even her husband. She addressed them to God. She did not even consult her husband. She made a vow to God. She believed in Eli’s blessing. Samuel was born to Hannah. He was weaned and taken to the temple at three years of age. There is no word about Peninah’s children. Whatever you need comes from God. If I pray and go plant and harvest, I must come back and give thanks to the LORD. Elkanah must have been told of the vow over Samuel some time later after his birth.

Whatever is troubling you, pour your heart to God. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV), states: Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. While Elkanah was satisfied with the status quo, Hannah was unsettled until her prayer was answered. Someone can be short sighted. Hannah made a clear decision to worship God. Let nothing stop you from seeking God. He will give you strength and courage to forge ahead.

ISAIAH 40:28-31

28. Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of His understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

The first question is about knowing who? Heard who? There is no time that God is asleep or unaware no matter how much you are troubled. You tire but not God. Know Him and His power. His knowledge and wisdom is unsearchable. You will grow tired searching for them. God is omnipresent. He can answer trillions of prayers within a minute. The foundations of His creation are unknown. He is a great God. Have you not tried praying and found yourself weak? Hannah prayed a special prayer after answers to her request had been received.

If you are getting weak doing God’s work, pray. The word says He will increase your strength. Hannah did not faint. As an individual connect with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When you send children to work and you realize it’s not up to your standard, you stand up and work on your own. If you are sending others to pray for you, stop it. You as an individual should know the greatness of God. Go yourself. Hannah refused to remain barren under insults of Peninah. Elkanah should have celebrated the birth of Samuel.

Samuel is the prophet who told King Saul he was lying. He heard from God. You are a special vessel before God. Do not accept the status quo. God wants you to fulfill His mandate. Do not look down on yourself. When scolded don’t roll up like a milipede/centipede. You must have a burning desire that you are not a mere person.

HEBREWS 4:16

16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Coming closer is standing up and approaching God pouring your life and seeking His face. Do you understand the sweetness of answered prayer coming as a miracle? That is why some people do not want to sit down at prayer time always give testimony. Hannah was very joyous. God is able to help us in our time of need when we draw closer to His throne. God does not go on vacation.

He is always ready to answer you. There are people being lied to by prophets who say they check after them 24/7. They sleep those people. The power is not in bangles. Surprise people by coming for prayer meetings when they had counted you out. If God was one who failed, we wouldn’t be reading His word. The word came to certify your faith. Man fail but God is able.

MATTHEW 15:8-9

8. These people honour me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 Their worship is a farce,
for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.

God wants your heart. Every year Hannah brought her offerings at Shiloh. Every year she survived the taunts of Peninah. Everywhere you go there are Peninah(s) and Judas Iscariot (s). Giving lip service is just honouring with your mouth without meaning it. Both Peninah and Hannah were giving offerings and praying. Do not honour God with your mouth only. Do it wholeheartedly and meaningfully. Do not worry that others are compromising. Many were barren but Hannah had her miracle.

Do not say because it is a common problem so be it. Be desirous to do differently. In school my friend and I had desired to pass. We read. We had bullies who were a problem. One day I told one that I was no longer a punching bag. It stopped there and there. Satan will continue pesting you until you say, NO. Hannah refused to be scolded at the altar by Peninah. She decided she was differet form those who praised God without their full hearts.

1 SAMUEL 2:1-4

Hannah’s Prayer of Praise

1. Then Hannah prayed:
My heart rejoices in the LORD! The LORD has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies;
I rejoice because you rescued me.
2 No one is holy like the LORD!
There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God.
3 Stop acting so proud and haughty!
Don’t speak with such arrogance!
For the LORD is a God who knows what you have done;
He will judge your actions.
4 The bow of the mighty is now broken,
and those who stumbled are now strong.

It was her heart not another person’s. There is no higher rock than God. He is the greatest cornerstone ever. Whichever you situation God wants to bless you. Philippians 4:4-6 (NKJV) commands, Rejoice in the LORD always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The LORD is at hand. It is not about people but GOD. Jeremiah 29:11-13 NRSV states, For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart. Maybe the devil is telling you it is a waste of time.

FOLLOWING FAITHFULLY TO GROW

SCRIPTURES BASED ON COMMON ENGLISH BIBLE

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

MARK 1:16-22

16 As Jesus passed alongside the Galilee Sea, He saw two brothers, Simon and Andrew, throwing fishing nets into the sea, for they were fishermen. 17 “Come, follow me,” He said, “and I’ll show you how to fish for people.” 18 Right away, they left their nets and followed Him. 19 After going a little farther, He saw James and John, Zebedee’s sons, in their boat repairing the fishing nets. 20 At that very moment He called them. They followed Him, leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired workers. 21 Jesus and His followers went into Capernaum. Immediately on the Sabbath Jesus entered the synagogue and started teaching. 22 The people were amazed by His teaching, for He was teaching them with authority, not like the legal experts.

Galilee is a big water body where business was done. Jesus Christ walked and called in His disciples. Those whom He called were working. They knew whom they were following. These men were made disciples through following Jesus Christ. It is expensive to follow someone. These men did not question Him. They faithfully followed. God has called us amongst our businesses to be fishers of men. When we follow God learn to be taught.

We do not make ourselves to be fishers of men. God does.Jesus Christ had a purpose for selecting those who were busy. A lazy person does not help in this situation. To follow someone requires knowing their character. We follow Christ because we know His word is powerful. God calls you from one level to a better one. When following God forget the past. Matthew 6:31 Berean Standard Bible states that, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

When you follow Jesus, you are following the author and finisher of your faith. The greatest fisherman. Genesis 1:1 Amplified Bible says, 1 In the beginning God (Elohim)created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. God knows what you require when you follow Him. What makes you do great works is being made into a disciple by Jesus Christ. The profession changed from catching fish to men. In Christ we move in the daylight not at night. Our assignment is different. God knows the assignment He gave you when you started following Jesus. The disciples left their nets. They were now unnecessary. These days, people want to follow Jesus Christ without dumping their hold.

Nets are not used for humans. You use words. How do you interact with people? You need the Holy Spirit. They were called and set apart for use by God. He is calling us from our different professions. God made them disciples according to His knowledge. John 4:24 AMPC says, God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). God teaches us how to catch people. God changed their mindset from catching fish for consumption and a person to worship God. In catching people we must show them love and encouragement.

People require a different approach. The same way you were called, God is calling others through you. Jesus built up a following until He had twelve disciples. He spent three and a half years with them teaching them to catch people. Fish are easier to catch than people. He led by example so they could catch other people too. No one of the disciples went back to their worldly professions. God took care of their needs. He supplied every need they wanted. When you follow God, He knows your needs.

LUKE 5:1-5

One day Jesus was standing beside Lake Gennesaret when the crowd pressed in around Him to hear God’s word. 2 Jesus saw two boats sitting by the lake. The fishermen had gone ashore and were washing their nets. 3 Jesus boarded one of the boats, the one that belonged to Simon, then asked him to row out a little distance from the shore. Jesus sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. 4 When He finished speaking to the crowds, He said to Simon, “Row out farther, into the deep water, and drop your nets for a catch.” 5 Simon replied, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and caught nothing. But because you say so, I’ll drop the nets.”

Following faithfully is a requirement. People were hungry for the word. There was no place for Jesus Christ to stand out on except fishing boats that were lying by. The fishermen had spent a fruitless night catching nothing. When following Jesus, don’t complain about challenges. God gives us a life full of challenges from which we derive lessons to be better people. Jesus understood that the fishermen had a livelihood to depend upon. When you know the voice of the One you are following you will listen and comply faithfully.

The problem is when someone fails we think we can fail too. When God uses what He asked you for He will make it right for you. If you understand that God is faithful you will worship right. When the fishermen threw the nets at the deep side they caught a large catch. The word of Jesus Christ is powerful. Faithfulness and obedience made it possible for the blessings of the LORD to land in their nets. They had to call other fishermen to assist.

If you follow God’s calling things will be right. At times you know what God is calling you to do but you resist your breakthrough. Worshipping God is being aligned and connected with Him. Paul says in Romans 8:39 Legacy Standard Bible, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I know Him and connect with Him as my Chief Shepherd thus I trust where He directs me. There is no way you will tread which God does not know. You ought to know that you are a work in progress. Everytime you read the word, you are being strengthened as a Christian.

There are human models. There are some with imperfections. What I do I am following my assignment to make disciples of men. Philippians 4:19 New Living Translation says, And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. God is not blind to requirements you have. The major reason people miss church are hustles to survive. Some people even opt to do overtime on Sundays. Following God requires sacrifice. Jesus sacrificed for you and I. Kill your own requirements and do what God wants not the reverse where today’s Christians want God to dance to their own tune. Jesus Christ died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for us.

We must emulate the way Jesus Christ walked. He was abused and scorned the same way as we shall be for the sake of the gospel. We went testifying in the Avenues during Love Zimbabwe campaign. I talked to someone who was well dressed. I didn’t know those night ladies had men who link with clients. Do I fail to witness because these are the challenges we met? You do not serve God with conditions. You serve Him because you love Him. They had abundance after serving Him. They had a bigger catch than they had anticipated.

Some people testify to great business after they have worshipped God. Isaiah 43:19 English Standard Version (ESV), 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. If the manufacturer of vehicle asks you to work for them won’t you run? We are called by the One who created everything we see. He gives eternal life. We follow because we know Him as the Creator. As you follow God, the Holy Spirit will continue working in you to produce a better system for you. If you have an electrical appliance with short wires there is no free flow of electric current. A Christian should not have short wires in them.

Christians take some parts and leave others. Jesus Christ says He wants to make you. We did clay modelling as children. If you created a cow with three legs it would tip over. Christianity doesn’t balance if you miss some parts. The word changes lives if you listen to it throughly. The word remains the same even if you read it a long time ago. We are continously revived and redone to allow free work of the current.

Leviticus 11:44 (b) says, and be holy, for I am holy. When you pray and God answers, it means you are humbly connected to Him. Christianity is not for a season. Worship God in all conditions faithfully and truly. Serve God faithfully. He will answer your prayer. God intervenes in a special way when you follow Him correctly.Following in the correct way has costs.

GOD IS THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS & EARTH

PASTOR B. CHIKUZA

SCRIPTURES BASED ON NEW CENTURY VERSION

We must know Him, how He works and who He is. When we know Him, we will walk in alignment. The God we worship is very great.

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

EPHESIANS 1:16-17

16 I have not stopped giving thanks to God for you. I always remember you in my prayers, 17 asking the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you will know him better.

We know God through revelation. God sometimes reveals Himself to His own. We read the word to grow in our knowledge of God. We know how God operates through His word.

ACTS 17:15-24

15 The people leading Paul went with him to Athens. Then they carried a message from Paul back to Silas and Timothy for them to come to him as soon as they could. 16 While Paul was waiting for Silas and Timothy in Athens, he was troubled because he saw that the city was full of idols. 17 In the synagogue, he talked with the Jews and the Greeks who worshiped God. He also talked every day with people in the marketplace. 18 Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers[a] argued with him, saying, “This man doesn’t know what he is talking about. What is he trying to say?” Others said, “He seems to be telling us about some other gods,” because Paul was telling them about Jesus and his rising from the dead. 19 They got Paul and took him to a meeting of the Areopagus,[b] where they said, “Please explain to us this new idea you have been teaching. 20 The things you are saying are new to us, and we want to know what this teaching means.” 21 (All the people of Athens and those from other countries who lived there always used their time to talk about the newest ideas.) 22 Then Paul stood before the meeting of the Areopagus and said, “People of Athens, I can see you are very religious in all things. 23 As I was going through your city, I saw the objects you worship. I found an altar that had these words written on it: TO A GOD WHO IS NOT KNOWN. You worship a god that you don’t know, and this is the God I am telling you about! 24 The God who made the whole world and everything in it is the Lord of the land and the sky. He does not live in temples built by human hands.

Paul was waiting for the brethren in Athens. He realized the city was full of idols. He argued with the philosophers of that time. They took him to Aeropagas hills to hear this new thing he was talking about. These people worshipped different gods. Paul started from their religious beliefs to preach the word about THE UNKNOWN GOD. Paul taught these people about the real God now what they had been worshipping.

Whatever you read, the Creator of the heavens and earth is God. He doesn’t need temples to live in like gods. He does not live in sanctuaries and shrines. They cannot accommodate Him. The life of a pr******te is given by the same God. Paul was introducing God and His works. He explained powers beyond human understanding. He made the people know that they ought not to under rate this God or grieve Him.

There were religious people with zeal. They had erected a temple to an UNKNOWN GOD. You must know the God you worship and His characteristics. Worshipping what you don’t know is a disaster. At one time Mordecai looked forward to Esther assisting the Jews in the trials they were facing. She came up with a situation that seemed to show she could not assist. Mordecai replied whatever situation the God he worshipped would move in another way. He was confident that God would never run short of ideas. He relaxed knowing God would come through. Certain men told the king even if the God they worshipped did not come through for them, they would never worship an idol. Know God and wait upon Him.

JOHN 4:1-10

4 The Pharisees heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more followers than John, 2 although Jesus himself did not baptize people, but his followers did. 3 Jesus knew that the Pharisees had heard about him, so he left Judea and went back to Galilee. 4 But on the way he had to go through the country of Samaria. 5 In Samaria Jesus came to the town called Sychar, which is near the field Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there. Jesus was tired from his long trip, so he sat down beside the well. It was about twelve o’clock noon. 7 When a Samaritan woman came to the well to get some water, Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” 8 (This happened while Jesus’ followers were in town buying some food.) 9 The woman said, “I am surprised that you ask me for a drink, since you are a Jewish man and I am a Samaritan woman.” (Jewish people are not friends with Samaritans. 10 Jesus said, “If you only knew the free gift of God and who it is that is asking you for water, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

The Samaritan woman talked about worshipping in mountains. Jesus Christ realized this woman lacked salvation. He introduced worship is from the truth and it is spiritual not about which mountains. This God in His fullness lives in a temple called a person. One can approach a mountain for worship where there is no God because of sin. She talked of worship when she had had five husbands. Paul realized there was religion without spiritual worship to God.

Understand today about the God you worship. He lacks nothing. He seeks those who will worship Him in truth and spirit. He is not looking for people knowledgeable about church programs devoid of His knowledge. Religion is full of knowledge of everything while the heart is full of sin. God seeks those who worship Him in truth. Anyone without perception would have argued with the Samaritan woman about which mountain was perfect for worship. They would have traced history back to Jacob yet Jesus Christ sought to point her towards God only.

Know church history but we want Christ in you. You know all the men of God yet all we want to see is Christ in you. The Samaritan woman compared Jesus Christ’s physiocal age to Jacob before Him. After hearing all the history where is Jesus Christ? God is not looking for history or when you climbed a mlountain, He seeks worship in truth and spirit. Paul felt holy anger when he saw an altar to AN UNKNOWN GOD.

Fight to worship God in truth and in spirit. There is nothing wrong in going up a mountain or into caves to worship. When we were young, we were zealous to worship. We would go up the mountains rushing into trees, onto rocks but it should be done in truth and spirit. You would fall or get bitten by hornets for nothing. The well had a history going back to Jacob. Let us not be heathens full of knowledge of the church and sin filled inside.

The woman on the well received grace to meet with Jesus Christ. This woman knew things. She had information. On this well Jesus Christ was told history. The question is, are you worshipping in truth and spirit? When you go up the mountain; your Mount Sinai search for God through truth and in spirit. Jesus Christ was moved to throw out money changers from the temple in Jerusalem. Do you know that you are a temple of the Holy Spirit? How does He feel with what is in your heart? Check what is in your heart.

The Tripartite God lives in you. His temple should be cleansed. You and I are God’s temple. The Holy Spirit resides inside us. Seek to worship Him in truth and spirit. Worship Him fully and wholly with a cleansed heart. Let Him not see anything contrary to His Word. Do not be full of history devoid of Jesus Christ like the Samaritan woman.
