A homos*xual and i love God , How can i make heaven ?
Thank you for being honest with me. That takes courage. And I hear two things in you: you love God and you want heaven. Both matter deeply to God.
Let’s answer from Scripture:
1 . Heaven is not earned by being good enough. It’s received through Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-9 _For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast._
No one - straight or gay - gets to heaven because they cleaned up their life first. We all come through the same door: Jesus.
2. Coming to Jesus means surrender.
Jesus said in Luke 9:23 _If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me._
For every one of us, following Jesus means laying down things we desire that go against His Word. For some it’s pride, for some it’s money, for some it’s lust, for some it’s same-s*x attraction. The call is the same: “Follow Me.”
3. What does the Bible say about homos*xuality?
Scripture lists homos*xual practice among things that are outside God’s design for s*x - alongside adultery, fornication, greed, drunkenness. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1:26-27, Leviticus 18:22. But read 1 Corinthians 6:11 carefully: _And such WERE some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus._
God’s power changes people. The church in Corinth had former homos*xuals in it.
4. So what do you do to make heaven?
The same as anyone else:
Repent and believe - Mark 1:15
Tell Jesus: “Lord, I want You more than I want my feelings. I surrender my s*xuality to You. Forgive me and be my Lord.”
Be born again - John 3:3
Salvation is becoming a child of God first. Not performing. Not suppressing. New birth.
Walk in obedience by His power- Galatians 5:16
This means saying no to same-s*x s*xual practice. Not because you hate yourself, but because you love Him more. He promises grace for this. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says He won’t let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and He makes a way of escape.
Don’t walk alone - Hebrews 10:25
This is why we _do not forsake gathering_. You need brothers who will walk with you, pray with you, hold you accountable without condemning you. Isolation makes it 10x harder.
5. Will the attraction go
Maybe. Maybe not. God sometimes removes desires instantly. Sometimes He gives grace to say no daily. Paul had a thorn he asked God to remove 3 times, and God said _My grace is sufficient_ 2 Corinthians 12:9. Your feelings don’t define your identity. _In Christ_ defines you.
Bottom line:
You make heaven the same way I do: by Jesus’ blood, not by your record. But following Jesus will cost you something. For you, part of that cost may be s*xual fulfillment as you understand it now. For me, it costs other things. Luke 14:33 _Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple._
You are not disqualified because you struggle with this. You are loved. THE LORD KNOWS HIS OWN. And He’s calling you to more than behavior change. He’s calling you to Himself.
Next step I’d tell you in person:
Find a Bible-believing pastor who will walk with you, not affirm sin but not shame you either. Start reading John, Romans, and 1 John. Pray daily: “Lord, I give you my s*xuality. Lead me.”
You asked an honest question. That’s the Holy Spirit drawing you. Don’t run from Him.
