Acknowledge His Help

Psalm 121:2-3 KJV
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

If the reason why you are still standing today, is good thinking then it is matter of time. The human mind is too inferior to battle the storms of this life. The highest levels of intelligence are being overwhelmed by challenges across the world. They have significantly advanced their technology but people still die and are sick. The human mind was never formed to function alone. The human mind was formed as a tool to operate under the inspiration and ability of the Spirit of God. The spirit of God should guide your mind to make proper decisions and the same spirit sustains all those executed decisions. . One can decide to start a family, which is a good decision but you can never successfully sustain a family with your mind. Sometimes there are in places where your mind can not be alarmed of any danger but it takes the spirit of God to keep them there. If you are ever going to keep standing in any area of your life, it is beyond your human mind. The mind itself need to be kept. You need to always acknowledge the ability of the spirit of God. The secret to make lasting decisions, it is the spirit of God.

Free From Situations

Philippians 4:11 KJV
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

When you find yourself in an unfavorable condition, learn to be independent from it. The capacity or permission for you to progress, it doesn't come from the favorableness of the situation but from the inside of you. So in the midst of adversity, do not let the situation enslave you. No wonder why in the book of Job, the Bible says, when men are cast down but you shall say, there is a lifting up. This shows that situations are not suppose to dictate how you speak but the word should. You can not submit to two masters at the same time, your situation and the word of God. This is what Apostle Paul is saying, that he has learned to be free from any circumstances. Apostle Paul had risen above the circumstances of his day, and you should learn it as well. Be in charge of your environment and circumstances.

The Esther Way

Esther 4:16 KJV
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Being brave as a child of God, is a necessity. You don't need to submit to limitations of this world. Brave means showing the mental capacity to face danger or difficulties. There are no guarantees in being brave, you can either win or lose. Esther displayed the highest level of being brave, when she decides to go before the king on behalf Israelis, although this was against the law. This move by Esther, had the possibility of costing her life, no wonder why she said if I perish I perish. Being brave can put your dear life at risk. However, besides looking at how Esther risked her life, let's look at her basis. Prior to Esther going in before the King, she called for a cooperate prayer and fasting. Prayer invites or avails the help of the Spirit in all you do. Mere braveness can cost your life but when you have the help of the Spirit, then safety is guaranteed. Each time you want to exercise braveness like Esther, make sure you have basis.

Staying Fresh Always

Romans 8:11 KJV
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Many people made money but nothing changed on their quality of life. Some eat the best food and live in the best houses but there is no glow on them. In this world there is what is called the law of vanity. Everything you see with your eyes is under the law of vanity, which makes everything to decay. Money, good food and beautiful houses are also under the law of decay, so they can not help you escape the law of vanity. No matter the good food you eat, you frequently get sick and you are getting old. The law of vanity is so powerful that it does not only need power to deal with it. In the Old testament, Prophet Elisha was full of power but he was a victim of sickness. You need the life of God in you. The life of God doesn't only extends the length of your life but it also sustains the quality of your life. The life of God transfigures your skin, blood, cells and everything about your body. Sickness is not style but a sign of a decaying body. You need to take advantage of the life of God in you, to sustain your body in health. The life of God in you brings a glow on your face and preserves your body in health.
