New year greetings to everyone.
Some of you have asked: What is ZimClaret Way? The word ZimClaret comes from 2 words, Zimbabwe and Claret, a place and a person. By this is expressed the desire of the Youths in Zimbabwe to have the Spirit that moved St Anthony Mary Claret to know, love, serve and praise God. We desire to put into practice the virtues we learned from him.
In a nutshell, Claret Way is a world network of youths from Claretian Family. By Claretian Family is meant all parishes and Missions which are served by the Claretian Missionaries.
The main goal Claret Way is to seek together as young people ways to:
TO KNOW
TO LOVE
TO SERVE
TO PRAISE
God in synodality.
The definition of Claret Way is based on the Apostolic prayer of St. Claret:
MY GOD AND FATHER, MAY I KNOW YOU AND MAKE YOU KNOWN, MAY I LOVE YOU AND MAKE YOU LOVED, MAY I SERVE YOU AND MAKE ALL CREATURES SERVE YOU. MY FATHER GRANT THAT ALL SINNERS MAY BE CONVERTED, ALL THE PERSEVERE IN GRACE AND ALL OF US ATTAIN ETERNAL BLISS.
